Addition to Existing Structure Building Service
While asking for prices to both remodel a basement bathroom and add an addtion to the back of the house, we decided to only contract for the bathroom to gauge the quality of the work. We are really happy we did not contract for alll of it as once. Work progressed quickly at first then slowed, many items had to be redone, cracked floor tiles, poor paint job, leaking shower surround. Clean-up and protection of the work seemed to be an afterthought, shower base is still stained from failure to protect it and falure to clean it up promptly. Many small details kept this from being a good project.

Our experience with Chuck's Creative Carpentry as been extremely positive. Chuck has far exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Chuck and his company without hesitation and reservation. His value added creative ideas allowed us to receive more house for our money. The quality of his work was of the highest standard. He was easy to work with, was reasonable in pricing, stayed within budget limits. There were no surprises. We lived 600 miles away, but only visited the site twice because we had confidence in his management abilities. Chuck is a "Man of his Word".

The repaired window leaks remained dry after the last heavy rains that we experienced. Based upon reults to date Chuck's crew did an A-1 job. The task was performed quickly and the quality of their workmanship was such that the siding did not appear to be disturbed when they finished the job. I did not give the highest rating because I thought that the cost of the repair was rather expensive. I have recommended them to a neighbor who has similar problems.

Chuck and his crew have been very polite, neat and tidy actually just started last week and things are moving right along. The elasticity is there today and the plumber comes tomorrow, the bathroom will be framed up later today. Thank you so much for sending such a good and work oriented personae myself would highly recommend chuck to all my friends.
