I have a complicated septic system . Read the reviews on Angie's list and hatfield was right for me. Jeff came out diagnosed the problem. He was great and very knowledgable and knew ht he was doing . I would highly recommend hatfield septic. Thanks Angie's list

Yes, the price sounds steep, but MAN do these guys do terrific work! The septic alarm had been going on and off for days (and this being my first experience with a septic system was actually confusing this alarm with the sump pump alarm - whoops!). Later I discovered that the septic system had been installed 6 years ago and had never been pumped out! So, I called Jeff at Hatfields and he sent a gentlemen out to inspect and pump out the solids side of the tank. When they opened the cap the mound that was there look something like a lava dome. It took him about an hour to break it up and pump it out. Afterwards, gallons of grey water began to wash back into the tank. It turned out that the the fluids pump had died (yes the drainfields are UPHILL from the tank). Another mystery with this septic system was that I realized that the access hatch for the fluids side (and the pump) HAD BEEN PAVED OVER for a parking pad. This warranted removal of the asphalt. I oked an estimate to remove the asphalt, replace the pump and control box and replace the heavy duty rubber hatch with a weight bearing sewer flange and manhole. The crew came out a few days later, luckily dodging on and off rain and were able to rectify everything in about 5 hours. Since it was raining, they came back a couple of days later to re-lay the new asphalt around the manhole. I came back out to the house (I'm not totally moved in yet) a couple of days later and all was well (sorry for the pun) with the septic and driveway. I was totally impressed with Jeff and his crew and would use them again in a heartbeat.

They found that it was a plumbing problem, so we had to get someone else to fix it.

Everything turned out just fine with this company. I would use them again in a heart beat. They are a 24 hr service which was so nice. They were very easy to deal with as well.

They were prompt and they were good. They did it while I was at work and they left us a bill.

The septic tank emergency alarm went off. We had just had the septic pumped out a year ago by another company. No way two people should need pump-out service in one year. I got Hatfield's Septic Service from Angie's List of company reports. To make a long story short, they came out and pumped the septic tank, got an estimator the next day and had the job done by the following day. All the employee's were professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

My experience with them overall was satisfactory because they were prompt and they did the job. They made our septic system workable again but I was very unhappy how they left our yard. They excavated the area of the yard over the septic pipe and then only did a rough grade to it and planted an undesirable grass seed with the consequence that if we want that area of the yard to look nice we need to dig it up and reseed it. I would use them again with qualification.

They were on time and they did the job. When they were done they knocked on the door to let us know that everything looked fine and to remind us of basic septic maintenance that will keep everything working fine.
