Have used this veterinarian office for maybe 20 years. The doctors and staff are great and very helpful and my animals get great care.

Scheduling was fine. The cat loved the visit. They called us to follow-up as to how things were.

Everything went fine. I have used this veterinary hospital for several years now. I find their services to be excellent and particularly like Dr. David Tayman and also Dr. Nancy Kelso. I would recommend this veterinarian to my friends.

They were helpful and professional and I made an appointment. They are a few blocks from my home, so the convenience can't be beat.

She had a subluxation of the knee cap. It did not require any further treatment at this time. She also received an injection that was due. I returned to this practice because they are convenient to my home, but they are pricey! I had changed to another vet for the shot schedule for our puppy. An injection at the other vet was $24 as compared to VCA for the same shot $36. They charge an exam fee for every visit which can get expensive when going every 3 weeks as with a puppy! They are very nice, professional, and efficient, just more expensive than some other vets.

The service was fine. The doctor was very nice and provided the necessary documentation. My cat is another story. She never quite recovered and is still so scared of everything. That is likely a cat issue but it started after this vet visit. She is almost 9 and never urinated when scared until after this visit. If I was still in the area, I would discuss this with this vet because he was spectacular. My cat's former vets were female, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

We have a cat that is older and in poor health. We called early on a Saturday and they got us in even though they were booked for the day. They have two vets that we like in particular; both are caring and response to our cats health but also listen to our concerns regarding treatment.

He is excellent. He takes a time to talk with you. He does not seem to be in rush. He is very gentle with the dog. Fees are high.

Dr. David Tayman and his associated vets and staff have always given our dogs first-class medical care and have always answered our questions promptly and patiently. The animal hospital itself is clean and well-equipped. We trust their advice and professionalism, and would recommend them without hesitation.

Nothing more to add, just use this clinic for our pets for both routine and special visits.

We liked them except that they were pretty expensive. We were very good customers as our cats needed lots of care.

They were pretty responsive. There were just a couple of issues that we thought were less than optimal, but all things considered they were a “B”.

They changed owners from private vet to a larger company and at that point it started to go down hill in our opinion. They were generally professional and we were comfortable with the care they provided. If we had stayed in the area we might have started to look around for another vet.

They are extremely knowledgeable, and really seem to genuinely love every pet that comes in there; even the mean ones!

They give top-quality care, but you have to be able to afford it. They're extremely thorough, but sometimes "too" thorough; they highly recommend every possible test and treatment, and charge a high fee for each one on top of the fee for the primary service. I could never get any info about what tests/treatments were really needed and which could be skipped without too much risk; they just recommend everything. When I had my 15 y/o cat's dental work done they recommended a cardiogram, which I did because nobody would tell me whether it would have been too risky to do without it or not. They also wanted to do laser dental work, which I refused because it would have more than doubled the cost; it later turned out it wouldn't have been needed anyway. When I took my 12 y/o cat in because he was in pain and having trouble breathing he was whisked away with no info about what would be done. I was left in the waiting room, not in a treatment room. I was scared and felt very uncomfortable with people and healthy pets going back and forth. When I was finally called in the vet who was in took me to a hallway where she showed me x-rays. She said he was full of fluid and having trouble breathing. The problem was clear from the x-ray, but they had ALSO done another test, which I felt was unnecessary because it didn't add any more information, but it *did* cost money. She started talking to me about his condition right there in the hallway, and realizing how very sick he was I started to feel tearful and weak in the knees. I was horribly uncomfortable having this conversation standing in this public place where other personnel would be walking back and forth and no place to sit down. I asked if there was a place I could sit, and she seemed startled by the question. Privacy and the pet owner's well-being hadn't even occurred to her. I wanted to hold my cat, but that wasn't allowed yet. She took me in a treatment room and talked in very cold, clinical terms about my cat's condition. She said he needed to see a cardiologist, which *might* get him 3 more months of life, *maybe*. She kept emphasizing how chancy it was, and I finally said, "You keep dancing around it but you haven't said it-would you recommend putting him to sleep?" She replied in a cold, totally impersonal way, "Euthanasia is an option in cases like this." I agreed to it and asked if I could hold him for awhile, but they said he had to be sedated first and had to have an IV put in. I was never asked to ok ANYTHING except the actual euthanasia; they just did every possible thing they could without ever asking first. Everything was very thorough but there was no concern for my financial situation and absolutely ZERO warmth, compassion or caring. Everything that was said and done was extremely efficiently and extremely cold. I now have a new vet who is competent, but is also warm, compassionate and realizes that some owners can't afford advanced treatment even if they would have liked to have it.

I had earlier adopted a cat from the Howard Co Animal Shelter and the cat was neutered here before I picked him up. He seemed to do well, so when I got another cat from a friend I figured I would use them as they offer discounts with a coupon from the animal shelter. I felt a little deceived as I compared their quoted price to others, but when I dropped the cat off I was told if I wanted her to have pain medication it would be extra, and I could choose a pre-op test that would tell them how she would take the anesthesia, for an additional fee. I paid the additional fees, but at that point my regular vet would have been the same price and it would have been closer. Cat came through the operation fine and stitches healed nicely.

They take great care of the animals. My dog is always happy when I pick him up. They have special play time for the animals. I never have a problem getting a time scheduled. They also take care of all my veterinarian needs.

I am treated as well as my four pawed child. They have the latest equipment and still have the personal touch. They treat my dog with great care. They are down-to-earth, pleasant and knowledgeable. I am also very happy with their extended hours on evenings and weekends.

They aren t a bad service and the people there are really nice, but I won t use them anymore because I feel that their prices are very expensive. I can give them credit for having a clean facility and very responsive front desk staff, but we have to budget and the cost was too much.

I like that the facility is clean and the staff and doctors are nice. I do have an older cat, so they have to do more testing and it makes the cost a little bit higher then usual, but I don't mind. The veterinarians are very diligent and I have been using them for a long time.
