Horrible the skylight leaks and the garage roof is caving in. I've tried working with this company but I've had no success. Warranty with this company means you just bought a paper weight. To bad Zero is not an option, I have to fix his damages. Read your Reviews

Poorly installed shingles including cuts along skylights. I had to take a week off due to poorly installed siding. Siding had to be removed and re installed correctly due to cable line making it appear lumpy. Right side of house, as installer to tape. Side of house had to be re installed to look better.

The roof was finished with a lot of flaws, irregular cuts in shingles, bent shingles and nothing lined up. The roofers also damaged a gutter, which they did replaced. Since then, we have had to have them come back to fix the areas that they have not cut correctly. The siding was horrible. I had to take a week off work just to monitor them. They were using the wrong sized nails, incorrectly taping, etc. They had to pull some of the siding off because it was lumpy. They also caulked excessively and did a sloppy job with the window wrapping. The chimney wrap with the siding is so crooked you can tell from the street. The siding contractor decided that it was too complicated to install a light and refused to do that work. The front porch post was apparently too difficult as well, so they left it crooked. They damaged the interior wall of the house and garage by using the wrong sized nails for the insulation on the exterior of the wall. During this time, Lamar (the owner) was missing. Two other people from the office came out to my house to do an inspection of the work and agreed with my complaints. They offered to pay $6900.00 for the damages and the poor workmanship.

Gutters installed no problem and I thought wood was replaced and capped.
First problem, contactor did a very sloppy job on the French door that leads out to my deck.. He was to replace and cap the wood trim around the outside of the french door.
First issue, contractor caulked the track where the screen to the French door slides and he didn't tell me that he also caulked the inside edges of the trim where he put the capping, so when I closed the screen it stuck to the caulk and got messed up.
I called the company and the contactor came back out and cleaned up the caulk around the inside of the French doors but not the caulk he placed in the track where the screen slides back and forth. Contractor told me to get a tool to remove that caulk.
About a week later, I noticed that the portion of the wood around the French doors that was rotted was not replaced but just capped over. Sent the owner pics of the rotted would that was to be replaced. He came out to see it about a week later and said that he would have the guy come back and replace it.
It took a month of my calling the company and talking to the owner, waiting at home for the contractor to come, cancelling doctors appointments when he said the contractor was coming. I got fed up and reported him to the BBB. Once I told him I reported him to the BBB, he immediately sent the contractor over and replaced the wood and re-capped. Work done, but I am not satisfied with the overall experience and having to call the owner for about a month. Will not use this company again.

Response from UHR has always been a bit slow, the actual process was not explained as we were going through it which made things a bit confusing at times. The guys that did the work was really polite and listened to what we wanted. The contractor for UHR/owner of the guys that did the actual work were a bit rude, didn't want to hear how we wanted things, did not give actual dimensions of things needed and complained about the materials we purchased. The company owner and the contractor did not communicate well at all. The UHR owner provided us a list of material to purchased to include the quantity and dimensions which we had ready before the contractor arrived however the contractor had an issue with some of the items that was purchased which came from the list from the UHR owner. Also they purchased items that we already had which was a bit annoying as well. Only regret was not overseeing every single detail as they were working.
The 2nd bathroom turned out as expected. The tiles had lines on it and were to be laid diagonally and had to ensure the tiles were lined up in the same direction. Not sure how they missed this... The only think unfinished here is the door transition which was never fixed in place thus it movable.
The master bedroom painting turned out well, there were a couple of missed spots that were fixed later.
The maser bathroom was the bulk of the major work. The vanity dimensions given was 60in which we got however they had to cut the wall a little and there is STILL a whole on the side of the vanity that we have complained about and the contractor came out to look at it in January 2015 but never returned to fix it. Inside the vanity cabinet where the pipes go through the wall it was left bare and when they returned in Jan simply put some covers over it but was not secured so it is very movable.
The exhaust fan we initially purchased was too big but never received good dimensions of one to purchase thus the one installed is a bit small for the whole and slid out at one time and my husband pushed it in so not sure about this.
The floor tiles were not installed smoothly, there are raised areas on the floors but because of the pattern you don't really see but can feel it when you walk on it.
The shower turned out really nice but not without complaints because of the 12x12 stone that had to be cut and fixed in place. Because of the varying colors of stone, they put the same color next to each other rather than interchange the colors which was what we should have been looking at while they were putting it in.
Replaced a double door into a single door which was really nice, can actually lock the bathroom now. Also the recessed lighting was a good idea by the contractor during the work which works well now too.
Overall the bathroom looks nice but still need some fixes especially the whole in the wall.

Everything went well. Because of the damage to my roof and the threat of more rain my roofing project was expedited immediately. All during the project there was always someone working on the ground to clean up debris. My whole roof including the wood needed to be replaced and Mr. Turner negotiated and an excellent price. The workmanship was outstanding. I would definitely recommend them for roofing and vinyl projects.
