Weening off medications may work for some people, depending on the situation but for other people who may have a chemical imbalance, does not always work and medications are needed to fully function in society without the burdens of depression and/or anxiety. Dr. Silver is, I believe, a psychoanalyst whose practice is based on changing a person's behavior/thought patterns by giving them tools to use other than medications.
Description of Work: Dr. Silver does not believe in medication for long term therapy but will ween you off the medications for anxiety, depression, etc.

Description of Work: I have referred at least two patients to Dr. Silver and she has been wonderful. She has a national reputation. You can find her on YouTube, too.
