Weening off medications may work for some people, depending on the situation but for other people who may have a chemical imbalance, does not always work and medications are needed to fully function in society without the burdens of depression and/or anxiety. Dr. Silver is, I believe, a psychoanalyst whose practice is based on changing a person's behavior/thought patterns by giving them tools to use other than medications.

I like her credentials. I was referred to her, I have been seeing her 5 months for 2 times a week. She is reasonable and her location is convenient. She has a nice bedside manner. She has flexible scheduling. She is good with insurance forms. She is very, very good.
