The sales person at The Room Store stated to me that the delivery charge for my furniture would be $100.00. It was my mistake not to look through all the paperwork thoroughly. The charge was $150.00. I was called about the delivery time and was told that there was a 12 hour window, 10:30 a.m., until 10:30 p.m. That seems a bit absurd. I told the person on the line that I lived alone and could not be there before 2:00 p.m. At 10:00 a.m., the day of the delivery, I received a call at work from the delivery guys saying that, "we'll be at your house in a few minutes". I told them I can't make it until 2 p.m. They did show up at 3 p.m. The salesman also told me that if I was "nice" to the delivery guys, they would take away my old furniture for free. He also stated that The Room Store had a recycling place where old furniture is taken. The delivery guys told me that they don't remove old furniture. Period. He had no idea about any "recycling center".I had to pay another company $100.00 to haul the old things away. I'm disappointed with the whole process. Would not shop there again.
