Richard is an outstanding real estate agent. He helped me purchase my house when I moved to Maryland. He has incredible knowledge of the greater Baltimore region. His greatest asset is his ability to understand his clients wants, needs, and find them a house which will suit them.
I've recommended Richard to many of my friends and will continue to do so.

Richard was professional and personable from the day we met. He explained the process that he would use to market our home and showed us comparable prices in our area so that we could make an informed decision on an asking price. Richard had answers to all our questions and was always patient when one of us asked the same question again. The brochures he produced were beautiful and showed our home at its best. Richard told us that the internet marketing was key and he was exactly right on that. The first weekend we had thirty showings and three written offers by Sunday night. While we accepted one, the buyer financing fell through a few weeks later. We were devastated, but not Richard. He put the house back on line. That Sunday was Easter, and he said that he would hold an open house and see what happened. So many people came that he could not even write all the names down. By the end of that Sunday, we had four written offers. He again painstakingly walked us through each one to help us make the best decision. Settlement was yesterday. Richard always made us feel like his only client. He never wavered when we lost our cool, which happened. Richard had the knowledge and professionalism that you would look for in a real estate agent, but he is also just a really good guy. We enjoyed our time spent with him.

We were moving to Maryland from the midwest and were referred to Richard to help up relocate. Richard was exceptionally professional, responsive, and helpful in our search. He was extremely easy to work with from a distance by telephone/email and had multiple homes scheduled for us to look at when we came to MD for our two house hunting trips. As we were generally unfamiliar with the area and the housing market, Richard proved to be a tremendous resource in selecting neighborhoods based upon our expressed needs for schools, commuting, etc. He also showed us homes throughout Howard County that would provide us with different living experiences and amenities. He was extremely patient when we changed the parameters of our search by moving our preferred price up and down by $150k (to see how the change in price affected the available housing) and was able to quickly locate a number of homes for us to view. Richard was also extremely helpful in negotiating our purchase and following up with the numerous inspections when we were unable to do so. Richard has our highest regard as a professional and was a pleasure to work with in the search for our new home.

This is the third real estate dealing we've had with Richard Watson.   With his help we've sold two houses and bought one.  Overall we are very satisfied with his approach, professionalism, and friendliness.   I am especially grateful that he is always personally available - one doesn't get handed off to a junior associate or a team member - you get to speak to him when you need him.
