Far exceeded my expectations.

Mr. Green and his crew moved everything back in just a little over 2 hours! Not only were they strong, they were very gentle with my stuff and with my newly painted walls. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with them. Before hiring them I called 2 references who were also effusive in their praise. Interesting that when I asked for references, he simply gave me the numbers of the last 2 people he had moved (rather than sorting through and hand-picking someone he thought would say good things about him and his company). They also have a large truck (which I didn't need) and can move people from one location to another.

Mr. Green and his crew were prompt, professional, and courteous and reasonably priced. They also very skillfully moved an upright piano.

Be proactive in your move - have the rooms labelled in your new home clearly so that the boxes being moved (which are also labelled) get into the correct rooms. The weather turned misty for a few hours once the movers arrived at my new home and my white carpeting. Not to worry, Mr. Green had plastic covering to place on the floor to protect it and the move went off without a problem. Everything arrived exactly as it had left the apartment.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and moved everything. Everything was taken cared of very well. No issues with the move and I highly recommend them.

Mr. Green and helpers moved all the furniture around in my house for a complete redesign. He and his crew were very professional and took great pains to not damage anything in the process. His price was very reasonable and no detail was overlooked. I would hire him again (actually tried to but he was out of my area that time).

I had used Mr Green's firm twice in the past, once before to move my mother and once to move myself. As previous times his prices are reasonable and he has a nice crew of guys that did the move.

Very well. Nothing was damaged in the move of several large pieces of furniture from the first floor to the basement. Mr Green also helped out by taking away for disposal a sofa that he had moved out to the curb for the city to take way on bulk trash day, which they didn't do. If he hadn't have down that, the sofa might have remained on our front curb for a month!

I am a repeat customer from four years ago. I continue to be very pleased with their service. A month prior, Mr. Green came to my apartment to give an estimate for moving my belongings to a storage facility. The estimate was big as the job looked challenging. My apartment building is difficult to move in and out of. There a was huge traffic jam and even a dumpster removal during the job. Mr. Green directed his crew very well. The movers were very courteous and professional. The movers got the job done in less time than estimated and even helped save me 6 linear feet in my trailer so I had less rental fees to pay! I would use them again but they don't come to Chicago. I would definitely recommend them to my friends in the region.

I received the name and number of Mr. Green from a friend of a friend. Of course, without firsthand knowledge of his work and my need to move my precious household items I was hesitant. I looked up reviews on Angie's List of Mr. Green and then invited him over for an estimate. He returned my initial call within 2 hours and was come over for an estimate that same day. Mr. Green is very friendly and professional. He was able to give me an estimate within a few minutes of arriving and answered all of my lingering questions. The price was cheaper than most other quotes I had received. I liked the fact of knowing since he had seen my items that needed to move, his price was firm and would not change on the move day. He does not charge for wrapping your furniture like other companies. I wanted to move by the next week and Mr. Green was able to solidify an agreed upon date (my second choice date, the first was taken). Within the next day, Mr. Green (knowing my desire to move) called me to say he had a cancellation and would be able to accommodate the day I originally wanted. All in all, after my initial estimate, he moved me within 4 days! I was shocked this happened so smoothly. The entire move happened quickly (4 hours- 20 minutes of driving to the new location) and without any issues. All of my furniture was intact and moved to the precise location I wanted. My new home has all hardwood floors, so they took extra time to protect those before starting to move my items in. They took down and set up all furniture that came apart. When the last item had been placed in its location, Mr. Green gave my spouse and I hugs! We had a fun day joking with his staff and I had accomplished my goal of not lifting a finger. I will use Mr. Green and his company for my next move and recommend his services to anyone who may need to move.

Mr. Green and his staff were very professional and handled our things with extreme care and caution. We love ML Green Transportation! We have used them twice and will plan to use them again when we move this summer. The staff is professional and courteous. Every detailed was handled by Mr. Green and his staff. I cannot say enough good things about this moving company! They are wonderful! We have recommended them to several friends who have all had nothing but good things to say. ML Green Transportation is extremely reasonable in cost and was able to accommodate our needs.

They were very flexible and made sure they scheduled it according to our schedule. They were quick and efficient. They were very gentle with all of our furniture and placed it where we wanted. It wasn't an easy task to bring down our bedroom furniture and their price was pretty reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

This was a great experience. Mr. Green took a few days to return my initial phone call (but had reserved the date I requested in my message until he did talk to me), and always returned my calls through the planning process. He came to see our apartment so he was able to give an accurate estimate of how much help and time he would need to move us. He also mentioned a few preparations we needed to make so the move would go smoothly. On the day of the move, he and his crew arrived right on time, and with all the supplies they needed (padding, hand trucks, even two moving trucks!) The apartment was empty in about three hours, and considering that we had 58 boxes just of books, I was impressed by that. They were thorough about making sure they got everything (except for things they couldn't legally move, like a decorative sword, but they were very polite in telling us they couldn't move it.) The crew was professional about their work, but also very friendly in their demeanor. On the way to the new house, Mr. Green was willing to make a (pre-planned) stop at Goodwill to drop off a huge china cabinet we couldn't fit into the new place. They were quick about moving into the new house, but not at the expense of being careful with our stuff. They were happy to put things where I wanted them, and even moved one thing that I changed my mind on. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Mr. Green's service.

Mr. Green was recommended to my husband and me by our builder's superintendent who had used Mr. Green for his own move. Mr. Green arrived on time for both the estimate meeting as well as with his crew on moving day. Based on previous moves the estimate he gave us was very reasonable. Among our heavier items were a commercial-weight elliptical machine as well as two solid wood cabinets with leaded glass doors. Mr. Green personally assisted his four crew members in navigating the elliptical machine up to the fourth floor. I felt so bad when I saw the five men carrying the machine ABOVE their shoulders the entire way up as it was only way to get it around the corners. Based on previous moves my husband and I had expected the move to take all day; Mr. Green and his crew were finished by mid-day. Throughout the entire move Mr. Green and his crew remained professional and courteous.

I needed to move the Sunday after Thanksgiving and Mr. Green was incredibly helpful. They moved everything and were very efficient,

They were an overall pretty good company. Nothing really stood out, it was a smooth service. Very efficient.

Mr. Green was very professional and helpful when I called. He arranged to bring a couple of his movers to my home within a week to move our 40+inch old television from the ground floor to the basement. We had replaced it with a new flat screen and wanted the old one in the basement for the kids. They came when they said they would come, were prepared with what they needed to get the job done, and finished it very quickly. Very nice people as well.

I was given ML Green's contact information by a friend who had used this company in the past and spoke very highly of them. I am most certainly happy that I took my friend's advice. I had another moving company lined up to do my move, but they cancelled on me last minute due to the inauguration. I called ML Green and Mr. Green came out to my house to provide an estimate. His bid was better than my original mover's quote, and he said he would squeeze me into his schedule within a week. I was very impressed by this accommodation. Mr Green and his 2 crewmen showed up on time on moving day and ready to work. They were extremely careful with all our furniture, wrapping every piece in blankets and protected all walls, doorways, and floors. The rowhouse I was moving from was small with a narrow stairwell, but these men were undeterred and took the time necessary to find a way to get all the pieces safely down and out of the house. During the move into the new house, a delivery of a new bookcase happened to arrive at the same time. The delivery men were having difficulty maneuvering the bookcase through the front door, and Mr Green and his men jumped right in to help the delivery guys without even being asked. They willingly provided their gear and protective blankets to keep this new piece of furniture safe and got it in place inside the house. After they resumed the rest of the move, the delivery man wanted to know the name of this company as he was so impressed and wanted to be able to refer them to other customers. He said he has NEVER referred another moving company before, but said ML Green "obviously cares about what they are doing". The total job wound up taking a few hours longer than Mr. Green anticipated, yet they never rushed anything. More than once I heard Mr. Green exclaim, "I love a challenge!" when trying to fit a large piece down a tiny stairwell. They were a true joy to work with and were completely professional and polite. I'd call them the hardest working guys in the moving business. I would recommend them to anyone!

They arrived on time, got the truck loaded quickly and efficiently, and were very friendly and professional. They were extremely careful with all my belongings. I will definitely use these guys again and would highly recommend them. Mr. Green is very busy and does not have a secretary so don't be put off if he doesn't get back to you immediately. He will return your call and they are well worth the wait. Also, book early as he fills up quickly!
