+ -1 moreI really liked Marty when he came to my house, but he was very unresponsive after the initial estimate. I liked him enough to follow up, and he did respond after a while, but then went dark again after I actually offered him the job! Not reliable enough to respond to email, or hire.

+ -1 moreSee above. Adding one final point: I cannot offer any reason to contract this electrician at any time for anything. From this experience, I have found a truly exception electrician (thank you Mr. Franz), but that's the subject of a separate review.
Description of Work: I have had Marty Franz Electric LLC work on electrical problems in my house once and requested service three times. The first time, he was subcontracted from Wall-to-Wall construction to move the main electrical connection from one side of the house to another, add a new breaker box, and connect to existing breaker panel. While the electrical work was satisfactory, it came with a broken fluorescent light and damaged to the exterior of the air conditioner compressor unit. The second time, again as a subcontractor for Wall-to-Wall, Franz was scheduled to show up in the morning to add some circuits to a renovation of my kitchen-dining room. He never showed up, with me waiting most of the day and missing work. (Wall-to-Wall contracted someone else in lieu of Franz.) The third time (and against my better judgment), I lost power in half my house. My neighbor, who is a construction contractor himself, suggested I call Franz for an emergency visit. I did so and was told my Mr. Franz he would be there to assess the situation shortly. This was 6pm on a Friday night. Franz never showed up, and like the previous time, never called to say that he would be delayed or unable to make the appointment.
