The service was okay but I was just being too picky. They could have a better selection for lenses. I don't like rims so I have rimless glasses but you need the width of the lens to be wider. The are well staffed. They've had people there for many years, you see the same faces. I didn't have to wait long but if it is closing time, you have to wait. Everything is displayed well. They send out flyers and so forth and I get advertisements in the mail. I would use them but I'll be a little more discreet.

Everything went great -- the person who took my order did everything possible to make me happy. He compared cost via insurance versus their special, made sure my lenses fit properly, etc. The downside was picking up my lenses. I was told they would be ready in an hour and a half. I arrived an hour and 45 minutes later and had to wait for 30 minutes.to pick up my glasses. Basically the last step of getting my glasses, spraying some cleaning solution on them, putting them on my head and asking how they felt required a specialist who was at lunch or something. Anyway, that was frustrating.

They offer excellent patient care and scheduling is easy.  The staff is helpful there.

The prices were decent, services were good and the exam was fast.

Optician and assistants were nice and attentive, appointment was quick and minimal wait. Majority of the employees at Lenscrafters were helpful especially since their computers were down. However, there was one woman who I was really put off by, she was right next to my husband and I and never asked to help or if we selected our glasses. The other employee was helping another customer, but when she finished she was really nice and helped me purchase my two pairs of glasses. She was really nice and helpful even with having to do it all by hand.

Not enough help.

The doctor gave a lot of his time and he was cordial. I had challenged a $30 fee for fitting contact lenses and it turned out it was the maximum copay my insurance plan allowed. My previous insurance did not have this fee. The glasses were made in a couple of days. There was a miscalculation in my exam. They have a 90-day satisfaction period for the subscription and the glasses, which I am very happy about and the reason why I will choose them again.

Did wait a few minutes for an available customer care employee. Was finally referred to and helped by Ms. Soo Kim. She was excellent. Her patience was outstanding as she explained the services by her company and assisted with the finding and fitting of eyeglasses for me. Could not be more pleased with her help and professionalism. Although I chose to wait an extra day to pick up my order, the glasses were perfect. How thankful I am to have found such a wonderful health provider.

How did it go? In a word - awful!!!!!!!!!!!. Could NOT recommend this provider to anyone under any circumstances! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Needed one new eyeglass lens following eye surgery. Not my opinion, rather that of an opthamologist with 40+ years of surgical eye experience. He only wrote me a prescription for one new eye lens. Explained to clerk that other eye would be ready for a new lens in about 2 months. My intent was to also replace the second lens at this location. Then I would buy a second pair of glasses as a back-up and a pair of sunglasses as well. Clerk was, in my view - rude, disrespectful, and acted as though SHE was doing ME a favor looking into my requirements. She was confused and seem highly uninformed as to what was possible. Had to tell her 3 different times which eye lens needed to be replaced. (Pretty simple in my view - only 2 choices, right or left - sad when someone can't keep that straight.) First I was told LensCrafters could only do 2 lenses, both at the same time. When I started to leave, she said, well maybe that wasn't so. So she checked her computer. She told me the computer would have to be by-passed, and she would have to get an OK from her boss to fill the doctor's prescription for just one lens. Then she miscalculated the price, because she hadn't read the prescription properly. Then she took my existing glasses back to the lab where techs install the new lenses. She said the tech told her that he/she could put the lens I needed in my frames, but couldn't guarantee that he/she could put the second lens in the frames in a few months because the frames werre in such bad shape. Strange - I bought the frames at this very same LensCrafters store. I guess they don't think highly of the quality of their own glasses! In the end, I just left the store. Very disappointing and very unprofessional. We've used this store often in the past, not just for me, but the rest of the family. LensCrafters Columbia just lost out on 3 new pairs of glasses for me, plus the new ones I'm sure to need in a year or two, plus those for the rest of my family all because of an indifferent clerk. I do not intend to ever return to this store. Where is the management here?!

They were wonderful. They help with you selecting the frames and stuff like that. I think it was within two hours I had my glasses made. I am going to go back there again.

I had an eye exam and glasses at LensCrafters - Columbia last year. I give them a B rating and I wont use them again.

We like it. They provide good service.
