Lawn Doctor, Columbia MD

Was a faithful customer for many years. Occasionally had to call and have something "touched up" or redone but generally satisfied with the service. This winter we had flooding in the yard. As a result, I had to reseed a bare portion this spring. Emailed Lawn Doctor asking them not to put down weed killer since it also kills grass seeds. The return email I received chastised me for seeding in the spring - not the fall as they suggested. He then berated me for not listening to them and used analogy of hiring a personal trainer to get in shape and then eating donuts. VERY unprofessional attitude. Wrote them back, trying to tone things down, explaining the flooding and such, and again received another email blast. Sent the whole email string to Lawn Doctor corporate - they agreed that he should have been more tactful - but that is the extent of it. I do not think I should be berated and chastised for not following their instructions, before they understand the rational for my actions. Even when I explained the situation, they continued to speak to me as if I were a naughty 1st grader that intentionally colored outside of the lines. I am not interested in dealing with a company that does not treat others with professionalism and respect.
