I am a trained electrician (3 years vocational school) before becoming an engineer. The house required major repairs and Shannon response to me was did I want a perfect house. The money needed for the house I bought cost about $3,500 in repairs in contrast to the thousands of dollars it would have cost if I purchased the house refereed to me by Shannon in which the seller agreed to fixed but failed. I found about the failure of the seller to perform the repairs two days before closing while living in a extended stay hotel. The following quote was the final email I sent to the realtor the day before closing. "I am canceling my buyers contract for the purchase of the property located at 6416 Copperhead CT, Waldorf MD. I am canceling due to HOA restrictions and obligations, the non-compliance to the addendum about all of the licensed contractors being BBB Accredited and the incomplete list of repairs identified by the House inspector in the Home Inspection Contingency Notice and or Addendum. I will be by the office today to sign the formal cancellation document."
