We previewed the work with 2 bidders. Michael impressed us by offering excellent recommendations when discussing difficult elements of the job, appearing much more knowledgeable than the other bidder. He then gave a fair and detailed estimate and then proceeded to give an excellent professional job in preparing and painting the unit. When he ran into problems, he resolved the situations on his own even when the solution required additional work without increase in cost. For example, running into unanticipated multiple layers of wall covering to remove, needing to encapsulate wall covering in place rather than removing it, apply additional coats of paint due need for more coverage on old drywall than the planned number of coats provided. Also, for the repair work, Michael willing provided help with some unanticipated items beyond the agreed to scope of work. Although an independent individual contractor Michael brought in help from another independent painter for a portion of the work to meet the tight schedule and also added in a full day of work on Saturday. Very cooperative and very professional.
