Sunday: Four year old flushed a duckie down the toilet.  Toilet is now blocked.
No need to call plumber for a Sunday emergency, as we have other toilets.

Monday: called for an appointment. Again, no emergency. Arranged for
the plumber to do the work on Tuesday.  (Ehrhardt could have come on Monday,
but we had appointments to get to. Tuesday was just fine.)

Tuesday: Plumber arrived. Was courteous and efficient. (good with our four year old).
He pushed the duckie down to the sewer.  Toilet is now unblocked. Four year old
learns that there are some journeys from which a duckie will not return.

Due to my location I wasn't able to hire Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing.  I am in the midst of my search.

They did a nice job.  I thought they did fine.  They came, fixed it and were gone.

The other company that I called first was very unresponsive.  The guys from Ehrhardt came out very quickly and did a very good job.  We had had them earlier for replacing garbage disposal, and we were happy with the man.  When I found out they also do sewer cleaning, I called them.  I am happy with the experience that I had with them.  We were happy with their job.

We recently moved into a new home, and could not figure out how to turn on the water to the hose bib in the back of the house.  Called Ehrhardt, and they were able to send someone out in just 30 minutes.  They were able to locate the shut off, repaired the valve handle, and got the water flowing again, and saved me the cost of a new valve.  While he was here, the plumber also noticed that I had a toilet that tended to run after being flushed, and fixed that problem as well.  I couldn't be happier.

The drain was difficult to get to; moreover, they spent over a hour running a snake slowly back and forth to clean it and ensure that the opening was as wide as possible without breaking the plastic pipe.

Went very well.  Very  responsive, prompt, personable and professional.  Cannot judge price.  Would be good for Angie's list to provide hourly rate range for different services, so customer can judge if price is fair without having to get more than one estimate.  Could save everyone some time.  

I called on the 31st and my call was returned early the next morning.  Their service man was there around 8am and quickly fixed the problem.  He explained what he was doing with helpful tips for us in the future.  We were given a 10% discount for being a first time customer/Angie's List member.  We were very pleased with the knowledge and work done and will definitely use Ehrhardt Bros again.

They were great.  I have already called them to do work at the new house.  They will be in a few days.

Everything went very well.  Keith was running a bit late, but the office let me know ahead of time.  When he got there I pointed out everything we needed fixed, and he started right to work.  The dryer mount and the drain cover were tricky, but Keith was able to get them fixed despite not being initially sure.  Everything was completed in about 90 minutes.  Keith was very friendly during the entire process, and explained everything to me as he went.  He even took his shoes off to avoid tracking anything on the carpet as he walked through the house.  I will be recommending Ehrhardt Brothers to a friend and will definitely call them if I have any plumbing needs in the future. 

After I call few pluming services we went with this company. When I describe our baseboard pipe linking, they understand broiler heating related problems. After Keith get to our house, we describe the problem. He quickly diagnose the problem and get work done promptly. He is very knowledgeable. We had heating problem for the whole winter since our service company (blue dot) don't think we had any problems. We are very happy Keith had fixed leaking valve and solved our heating problem as well.

After a thorough assessment, he fixed all three spigots with just a few adjustments and gave an understandable description of the problems with each. There was no need to replace them and he even explained how to keep the same problems from happening again. We really appreciated the honest assessment and the information! Also, when it was time to pay the bill, he gave me a discount because they were running a coupon (even though I didn't have the coupon). Overall it was excellent service. He was prompt, professional, knowledgable, honest, and fairly priced. We will definitely use them again should another problem arise and would recommend them to anyone else with a plumbing issue.

He showed up earlier than expected. Gave me a very straight assessment of the 3 issues,  even talking me out of an idea I had that I now know would have been a waste of money.  Then got right to doing the work. Overall fantastic job - and a really nice guy as well.

Plumber was very friendly and helpful

I have 2 acid neutralizing filters.   When they were installed, the original plumber put the backwash pipe in the most convenient place for him.  Unfortunately, it was so close to the back of my house and on a downward slope, that my basement has been flooding.  We decided to get that pipe relocated and the search for a plumber began.  I was certainly surprised at the number of plumbers who never had the courtesy to return my calls.  I started out just asking for an estimate.  One plumber sent out a crew to do the work without even seeing the job or giving me a price.  Needless to say, I turned them away at the door.  Mike from Ehrhardt Brothers came out to do the estimate himself.  He was running late, but let me know ahead of time.  He was very professional and gave me a good price.  (a few hundred dollars less than the next guy)  i received the quote from him office very quickly  (2 other plumbers never gave me a quote after they took the time to come out and look at the job...which I really don't understand)  It was easy to accept the quote and to get the appointment to do the work set up.  They were scheduled to come between 8am-10am on 3/23.  When nobody had shown up by 11am, I had to call.  It would have been nice to get a call from them to let me know that they were running late.  Anyway...Keith came to do the job and I was quite happy with his work.  He found a way to relocate the pipe that didn't involve having to cut through the existing dryway (which everyone else told me had to happen)  His work was clean, professional and thorough.  In the process of relocating the pipe he found 2 more efficient solutions to the solution and he kept me informed through each step that he took.  There was no mess at all left behind and I feel that he took ample time to do the job right.  We've been enormously happy with the work and are glad to report that our basement has remained dry since we had the pipe moved!  I would definitely use Ehrhardt Brothers again.

I attempted a diy approach to replace my old garbage disposal.  Needless to say I wound up calling a pro.  Keith was punctual, courteous and professional.  He explained his diagnosis of the problem leak, and he showed me the problem with the type of sink that I had.  There should have been a better gasket included with the new unit.  He proceeded to disassemble the new unit to the point where he could access the mounting bracket are , and applied plumbers putty. Keith tested the disposal, and could not find any signs of a leak. I tested the disposal after he left, and I found a small problem.  I called it in, and was immediately reassured that Keith would be back out to resolve the problem. Keith came back out, and located, and resolved the problem.  The trap had somehow come loose. There was a small leak at the trap.  Keith tightened the trap....   So far, so good.

Described above; all went v. well and we are pleased w/the work.

The plumber was very thorough and experienced. I was pleased with his work.

I called the Ehrhardt Brothers Quality Plumbing Company to get a estimate on replacing my gas hot water tank. I talked to Mike. He quoted me a price and we set up a day and time to do the work. The day the work was to be done Keith showed up right on time. Excellent work was done by both brothers with no additional surprise charges added to the bill which I thought was a fair price. Both brothers were professional and friendly.I would highly recommend them to other people. Also I would rate my experience with them to be higher than the letter A if I had that option.Thanks Angie and thanks Ehrhardt Brothers. (Keith and Mike)

Called to have them replace a couple of toilets in my home. Setting up the appointment by phone was easy enough. Mike set me up with a nice toilet. Keith came and did the job. Was efficient, friendly, knew what he was doing. Was very thorough on the job, made sure the toilet in the powder room was level and didn't rock. Meticulously cleaned up the caulk leftover from the old toilets. Was impressed with the new toilets I called them back the next week to replace the other toilet in the house.
