Mr. Kelbie and his assistant did an outstanding, thorough job on my two decks and front porch. The work was done quickly and cleanly and for a reasonable price. I was very pleased with the end result.

Ed was timely and knowledgeable. He repaired my roof on the spot and provided clear explanations related to the materials used along with the process. I highly recommend him!

We had a roof leak in our living room. Kelbie Home was able to send someone out within about an hour from my call and even do the work same day. He was very responsive and price was very reasonable. We anticipate needing a new roof soon and using Kelbie Home Improvement for the full roof replacement.

Ed showed up within an hour of us contacting him. He identified the problem and was able to fix it temporarily during the rain storm. We will be using him later in the week to fix the problem permanently. We will be contacting him for any future home improvement needs and sharing his name with our friends and family!

Gutters were cleaned fast. Everything went well.

Inspected roof due to leak. Identified issue and replaced roof vent the next day. Price seemed reasonable, so I did not get other estimates. Very happy with the responsiveness and quick resolution.

Great. He told me that I probably didn't need to get any work done. So, clearly he's not pushing for some work just to make a few bucks! If I ever need his services, I will call him back.

Great! Ed came the same day I called and fixed the roof in about an hour. It looks perfect.

Edward personally called us within an hour of requesting an estimate. He visited our home the same day, showed me pictures of the damage up close, and offered to fix it at our convenience. We chose Edward Kelbie because of his professionalism and honest assessment of the roof's condition, and would definitely use him in the future!

Edward Kelbie Home Improvement did the job like they said they're gonna do it and, you know, the house looked clean at the end. So, I was happy with it. I can't give something on punctuality because I wasn't around when they did it like for weeks before or after so I don't know exactly when it was done so I can't comment on that. My interactions with them were very limited.

It went well. He determined thorough rooftop inspection found that roof was mostly okay but he could see cause of the leak. He explained the minor Tune-up package repairs he'd do to fulfill the Roof Tune-up deal. He also formed a plan to shore up the roof ridge area and replace the Vent, which was understandably outside of the Tune-up deal. With that repair, I believe he said the roof is good for perhaps a year or so, with replacement in the future. The inspection told me what I needed to know; the repair went well. He also realigned the last foot or so of the gutters at the end furthest away from the downspouts. I would call this contractor again for service when need occurs.

Mr. Kelbie is a very pleasant contractor. Besides removing the satellite dish, I had another area of the roof I was concerned about. He investigated and determined that it wasn't a problem. He took time to inspect the roof when he was there. He did notice some loose venting and caulk repair that needed to be done. So that was fixed as well. On another occasion I had a downspout that was spewing water like a geyser from an elbow piece. He was able to come out the same day and fix that. Mr. Kelbie is a very pleasant contractor, who I would highly recommend. I am sure the other services he provides, painting, chimney repair, etc., are all done to a high level of workmanship.

Well. Prompt and complete. One potential problem remains but haven't had sufficient rain to determine success of the roof drain repair yet.

Great!! I contacted 3 contractors who did power washing. Ed responded immediately and came that afternoon to check out what I needed. He arrived exactly when he said he would, gave me a price ($150) and said he could do it later that same day. We also agreed that the entranceway needed painting. He wrote up a contract for $950 and I signed it. He power washed the whole front of my house that afternoon and took a paint chip to match the paint. He said he would return the next day around 11 to complete the painting, and he did. His work is excellent. He is very professional. I would definitely recommend Ed and plan to use him on other projects around my home.

An easy A. Impressive how well he cleaned the fascia (under the roof overhang), which hasn't been that clean since it was new 26 years ago. I don't think anyone even tried to clean it in power washing the house in the past. Power wash of the pressed-wood didn't quite get some dark spots (mold?), which is always a problem with my (Lowe's) deck 'easy maintenance' wood replacement, even using mold retardant, but it's much, much better. Everything else: painting, color choosing, paint finish, etc. he was hands on, fast, highly professional, listened and responded well to this customer to get excellent agreement on paints. His painting partner did an excellent job on the foundation and the railing. Highly recommend for an exterior facelift!

I bought a $449 Deck Pressure-Washing and Restoration deal on March 6 for my rental townhouse. Edward Kelbie Home Improvement emailed me the next day saying that they would call me to schedule the work. We left phone messages for each other before we were able to connect up. When we spoke, we confirmed that the simple pressure wash and clear-coat I wanted fell within the scope of the original offer. Mr. Kelbie said that I didn't need to be present to let him onto the stairless deck; he would use a ladder to reach the top. He said that he would complete the work as weather permitted. On March 18 he sent me email saying that the job was complete. I drove over to verify that the deck was clean and sealed as advertised

When he came to do the estimate he went up to the roof and took pictures of the roof as a whole and problem areas. (I have a flat roof) He showed me how the coating was thinning and almost non existent in some areas. I suspected that it was the roof coating issue and his pictures and explanations confirmed that. He came on the day he scheduled, called me when he was there and sent me the "after" photos to show that it was done. He was very prompt and informative. I would call him again.

We contacted Mr. Kelbie through Angie's List. He e-mailed us within 24 hours to schedule the service, and scheduled it within one business day of my calling him back. He and his crew arrived on time, did a thorough job in a timely manner, and charged us half what we were charged when a different contractor performed the service last time. We will definitely be calling Mr. Kelbie again!

Ed was very punctual, and great to work with. He had great communication skills, and took the time to explain everything to us. I would do business with him again!

Mr. Kelbie's team was very professional, courteous, and committed to getting the job done right. We are very satisfied with the work they did. We definitely plan to use them again in the future for other home improvement jobs that we need completed.

It went perfectly, he was nice and not pushy while he explain everything to me. he told me the price before he started and give me insight on what is to be done. I felt he did an excellent job. When I get my bills paid up I going to use him again. The job he did was neat, clean and well organized. I could relax and feel comfortable while he was working. I would give him a A++++++ across the board! GREAT JOB!!!

One of my best experiences with a contractor. For initial estimate gave an exact time (instead of typical multi-hour window) and showed up on time. Very factual during all communications and not pushing to sell services that are not necessary. Following the quote, he left me with his card and said if I decided I wanted him to do the work to call. No pressure whatsoever. He additionally gave great information on what might need to be done over the next few years but was not time sensitive. Upon calling to schedule the service, he was very flexible on timing and showed up exactly when he said he would (again, not a window but an actual time). While I do not know a lot about roofing, the fixes look as though they were done quite well and one of the major issues (pooling water falling on stairs in front of the house) has been dramatically improved. Ed is easy to work with, friendly, and very responsive. I highly recommend him.

We used Edward Kelbie Home Improvements on 2 different occasions in September 2013. Our apologies to Mr. Kelbie for the late feedback. The first time we called the Company to clean black stains from the roof. During that visit, we also had several pipes on the roof painted, the vents and flashing resealed and several areas (i.e. front walkway) power washed. He and another employee completed the work. It was reasonably priced and well done. Additionally, it was a pleasure working with Mr. Kelbie. He was professional and courteous at all times as well as responsive to our questions and flexible when working out the particulars of the job. We were so satisfied that we engaged the Company to do additional work for us. This time, we had portions of the brick on our house cleaned. Both jobs were completed in a timely manner with the work starting when promised. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with Mr. Kelbie?s work and would definitely use him for future projects. We would also highly recommend him to anyone needing home improvement work.
