DR DECK MD

This was a small two or three person organization. They were doing other work in the development and it appeared to be good. Neighbors had siding cleaned and shutters and door painted. Always started work later in the day normally after noon. Failed to power wash underside of deck above paver patio and other areas. Applied CWF-UV without checking weather and it rained heavily immediately after applying the sealer. Failed to apply CWF-UV product according to the manufacturer s directions and when questions said that the instructions were wrong. Complained about having to pay the cost of applying the sealer again after the rain washed it away the first time. Failed to finish the sealing the deck the second time. Applied far below the required amount of the sealer that was needed and did not apply it according to the direction by following up spraying the product with a roller or brush. I had to finish applying the sealer using what was left and had to purchase more myself in order to do the job correctly. Killed a large amount of grass and plants by over spraying the sealer in additional to failing to cover up items prior to spraying. Advised that I did not want them to perform any more work which included the sealing of the paver patio and the painting of the shutters and front door. After terminating work, felt that it would be in my best interest to no to seek any reimbursement. In the end, this was the poorest quality of workmanship that I have ever experienced. I should have done the work myself as originally planned. Since I've never hired anyone for this type of work and did not get any other quotes I'm not sure if this price was below or above the norm.
