The paint job went well.  However, contractor did not return left over paint and when we tried to locate him, he was no longer at that location and did not return phone calls.

Its a great company to work with. The owner Craig Hawkes was always available. He offered helpful advise. He stayed on or under budget and if I went over budget he would tell me before doing the work. His workers are very respectful of both myself and my home. They were very trustworthy and alot of the times they did the work when I was not home. I felt comfortable with them working while I was not home. If Craig is not please with the work, he has the workers do the work again. His prices were consistently lower than any other company. I wouldn't use anybody else.

Craig Hawks, the owner, came and gave an estimate - only verbal, not in writing.  He does none of the work...but his employees are basically prompt and nice, though they don't speak any English.
Overall, they do a decent job, except getting the job completed is nearly impossible.  They do 90% of the job and then they're off and Craig only schedules 1 guy to complete the job and it takes forever.  
Craig will show up on what seems to be the last day VERY QUICKLY, for his money...no problem finding him then.
On this last job, there were the unfinished items, including hardware for our new windows - thankfully it's not summer, because there were no screens or openers for the windows. I called him for two months without getting ANY response.  On each call, I asked him to call my husband, because he started the project with him. He and my husband have worked together for years.  What I didn't know is that he'd done this before - not returned a call for 2 months at a time.  I left nice messages, even expressing concern about him and his family.  We thought maybe something had happened...otherwise, how could he be so UNPROFESSIONAL, DISRESPECTFUL AND LACKING ALL INTEGRITY as to not even call back??????
Even after my husband called, and he then called him back, and said he'd call back in 3 days - HE STILL DIDN'T CALL BACK FOR OVER TWO WEEKS!!!  
Finally my husband had to start leaving voice messages, to no avail...finally, after I texted him that I'd tell his wife how horribly he's treated us...did he actually call us back!  OUTRAGEOUS!
Don't work with this company - CRAIG HAWKS AND COLUMBIA FINISHERS ARE NOT A QUALITY COMPANY WITH WHOM TO DO BUSINESS!

From beginning to end, they showed up when they said they would, worked hard and got the job done in amazing time. We are so pleased with the quality of the work. When we pointed out little things they were quick to fix. Craig and Will were very professional and responsive. Even my neighbors came by to look at and admire the new deck. I highly recommend Columbia Finishers.

SO FAR, THEY ARE DOING GREAT. I AM WORKING WITH AN INTERIOR DECORATING SERVICE, AND THEY RECOMMENDED THIS COMPANY. IT TOOK A LITTLE TIME TO GET US IN, BUT THEY ARE DOING A GOOD JOB, AND ARE VERY ACCOMMODATING.
