Chuck Maggio - Signature Home Loans

Chuck Maggio of Signature Home Loans was my mortgage broker for the 30-yr fixed home loan on a recently purchased a foreclosed townhome in Ellicott City. As a first-timer, I found the real-estate process to be a frustrating experience for the home buyer. However, thru all the cloud, smoke and non-transparency, Chuck stood out like a like bright light - he has a lot of patience and most importantly, honesty and integrity -- rare qualities indeed when such large sums of money are at stake. Chuck has connections with 20-30 different mortgage lenders and works to get you the lowest rates and points he can find. I found him to be very knowledgeable. If you find lower rates, he will work with the banks to see if they can match. The seller of the REO property I purchased delayed the settlement date many times. At the last delay, the mortgage lender could not maintain the same low rates unless additional points were paid. Unbeknownst to me, Chuck paid out of his own pocket the additional fees so I could keep the same rate. Which I really appreciated. Needless to say, I highly recommend Chuck and will go back to him again when I buy other homes.
