I wish I could give a higher grade than A, such as A++. We purchased an "Angie's Big Deal" for 2 hours of labor (parts excluded). We were contacted by phone within 48 hours (although the instructions said we were to call the company). We set the date and time frame (12:00 - 3:00 p.m.) and the technician, Danny, kept that appointment and had called about 15 minutes before arriving. He knew exactly what he was doing and completed the job to our complete satisfaction. One of the 2 new exterior fixtures would not work (not Danny's fault) due to a bad part. Danny was able to identify the problem and replaced the defective part. We would never have been able on our own to figure out the problem (and besides we don't touch ANYTHING electrical anyway). These fixtures had been ordered and we waited over 8 months to get them, so replacing them was not feasible. We asked for estimates for 2 other jobs (both much more timely and complex) and want Danny to do the work. Thank you, Danny.

Greeting him at the door, he seemed to have an easy going and pleasant demeanor. I explained to him what I wanted done, and he immediately began the job. I didn't have to further explain anything once he began the job. So I was pleased to observe his confidence and competence. He finished all of the work under 2 hours, and I was extremely satisfied. The service provided exceeded my expectation. I highly recommend them, as I will be using them for future projects.

He was prompt, polite but not over-chatty, pleasant and got down to work. He was very neat and tidy, did his job quickly and cleaned up the little sawdust made from the drilling. He was in and out in less than 2 hours. Everything works and looks great! Perfect in every way!

Danny is a great professional. He called ahead of time, showed up on time, and had everything done in about 1hr. Aside from a perfect install, he cleaned up and was very respectful of the home. I have a dropped ceiling in the basement which made the install a bit easier. He ran the new wire across the basement ceiling and in the wall behind the range. There was a small hole cut in the wall to feed the wire up which he repaired as well. Impressive job.

This was a really great service call. They were able to schedule a next-day visit after another electrical company had to cancel a scheduled appointment. I had been given a window of several hours in the early afternoon for the appointment and was told I could expect a call about 30 minutes before the arrival of the electrician. I got an unexpected message from work asking me to drop off some paperwork, and when I called to check to see if I had time to do so before the appointment, the dispatcher was able to contact the electrician, Danny, directly and let me know that I had enough time to run my errand before he arrived. Once he did, he quickly looked at the work to be done and in less than an hour had addressed both the circuit breaker and installing the light. He clearly explained what he had done and why and made sure to point out that some dust had fallen on the floor from the ceiling in our playroom so I could easily clean it before our son came home to play there. The cost was totally reasonable and the visit was so easy. We'll definitely use CET again for our electrical work.

The experience was great from start to finish. It was easy to schedule the appointment, the tech was on time and professional and did the job quickly and effectively.

I thought this was exceptional, because he could have charged us for coming out and fixing it within seconds. I am very pleased with their service! I definitely will use them again in the future. They did not charge me anything. They provide service when service is needed, and they provide advice when advice is needed.

Very happy with the work. Fans were installed quickly and balanced properly. Crews used drop cloths to cover the floor and also vacuumed the area as necessary. Very happy with the responsiveness. Highly recommend and would use again.

I bought the Big Deal for the recessed lights but wanted to be sure that they would be compatible with future LED CR6 inserts. Gary was very helpful in looking at the compatibility list to choose the right recessed lights and dimmer. Danny made the actual service hall, this is the second time he has been here. He is prompt, pleasant, helpful, and obviously expert. The new recessed lights look great and we are able to get rid of the energy hogging halogen lamps. Danny nailed back the drywall pieces that he had to cut out for the cord tunneling so that I could take my time scheduling the drywall repair. He gave me some ideas for adding lighting to my porch. I will definitely use Certified again.

Attic fan didn't start and was assigned this company through my home warranty insurance. (That is why the amount spent is listed as zero.) Fixing the appointment was fast and easy. Ric came promptly on time. He was extremely efficient. Found the problem (fan died and had to be replaced). He got a fan from his truck and replaced it on the spot. Excellent communication and very professional service. Would recommend it to others without any second thought. This company is also listed under their Potamac, Maryland address.

When I called Certified that afternoon, they offered to come the next morning, but I was leaving on vacation so the date was set for the first day after I returned. Danny arrived right on time, after a confirming call a half hour before his arrival. He quickly found the wires from the outlet were not hooked up to the electrical box. Because the electrical box had no more slots available, he laid out the options, including the installation of a second box. He also suggested the use of a part that allows two wires in one slot. It saved me a good bit of time and money. I appreciated his friendly help and was using my new dryer within an hour! Certified Electrical is prompt, reasonable, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm calling them the next time I need electrical help!

They were able to give us the advice and options that we could pick from. We needed a few light switches that we needed to replace and they offered other services that didn't feel like upselling. They had the equipment with them and were able to do the install right then and there.

Very very well. The owners (we had them come out twice, and one owner came the first time, the other owner the second time). They are extrememly pleasant and polite, offered to do any other small work that might be needed even if not previously discussed, came out within a few days of being called and arrived exactly on time. It is very difficult to get trades, especially electricians, to come out for small jobs - but Certified did so happily, they didn't make us feel like they were doing us a favor. They went thru the inspection report and actually cleared up a couple of errors that were made in the report, as well as doing all the minor fixes. Both times we were charged just their minimum house call fee. It was a joy to work with them, and that is not something you usually say about repairmen!!

My experience with this company was positive throughout. From initial contact to final goodbye, they earned "A"s. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The electrician was highly professional, in terms of both work and interaction. I was pleased enough to get quotations for further work. Overall it was a great experience, and a great recommendation by Angie's List.

Certified was the first available Electrician. They were available within a week when others were had a month lead time (even for just a couple hours of work). They came on time. The process was straightforward. The electrician got right to work and was very efficient. He took care of all my needs. The price was very reasonable. I'm very satisfied and would recommend them and use them again.

Danny arrived just when he said he would (early for our appointment time) and got right to work after I showed him everything we wanted done. He was efficient, and professional and was very careful to cover my kids beds' so that they wouldn't get dusty. It was a great experience and the price was more than fair for Danny's great work. I called and gave a description-fixing a problem with my landscaping lights and fixing a light switch. Danny came by and spent an hour-using my switches, communicating well with me and allowing me to watch. He reviewed the connections and fixed the problem. Thorough, professional, easy to talk to....I had no issue with giving my credit card over the phone before the appt. I think it is a good thing to do....easily dealt with if there is an issue-just contact VISA.

They were on time and did what they said they would do. They showed up when they were supposed to and everything went smoothly and quickly. Their price came in a little bit under their estimate. The outside socket needed a little bit of extra insulation around it, and they did it without making any changes to the price. They were really good, and I was happy with them. I would have them back to the house again. I would also recommend them to others.
