They were very good. It was expensive but I think they were well priced based on the market. The guy who did the work was meticulous, he did a good job, and he was professional.

I got them from Angies List who was a part of a Big Deal. I like them and will continue to use the in the future.

I currently used them and I found them from Angie’s List. I really, really liked them. They had a coupon that they were running and I used that. They were very good and since then, I already got a thank you card in the mail from them with a coupon for my next job. I thought that was really good.

The electrician was very good. I bought a big deal coupon and took advantage of that. He did some other work while he was here. It worked out really well. He advised me about other things that needed to be done. I will probably call him back to do more work. The coupon was $99 and I think it was around $130 that I spent for the other work. It took longer than what the original coupon was for. He was very polite and did the work. Everything went just fine. Overall, it was excellent and the price was very fair. I would use them again in the future.

They did a good job. They were polite, friendly, and very thorough. It took a lot of looking to find the problem.

He came out to assess everything. He was over for about four hours and we talked about options. He's knowledgeable, nice, and very professional. He's very efficient. I like them a lot because they have a customer service department that calls you after they leave and you can leave feedback. They also send us coupons, which is nice and helpful. They're always on time.

HIGHLY recommended. This was my second outstanding experience with CET, and I will continue to patronize their business for future electrical work in my home. From appt scheduling to actual day of service, a number of descriptors come to mind: professional, responsible and reliable. I'm done with contractors who tell you they'll be at the house between 8A-12P, and then show up at 1P without apology nor explanation. Not the case with this company. CET sends service reminders via phone, email and snail mail, and the technician calls an hour before arriving. The job was started and finished within a reasonable period of time. The installation of a new pendant and accompanying dimmer switch wasn't simple; however, the tech was clearly communicative on the spot about what he needed to do with respect to cut-outs of sheet rock in the walls and the ceiling. Much to the pleasure of my drywall/painting contractor, the technician left the cut-out pieces intact so the walls and ceiling could be repaired/repainted in swift fashion. What's more, the tech cleaned up the mess, and left no trace of drywall shrapnel or dust (other than the pieces needed to repair the holes). It has been a long while since I've received such high quality services from an electrical contractor. Simply stated, I won't go with any other company for future electrical work in my home.

A very friendly young man arrived on time. He understood everything we wanted done - the ceiling fan part became a little complicated because the old extension pole did not fit the new fan. He went over the time a little bit. The next day my husband couldn't figure out the timing of the lights so he called and the company sent the guy out again at night to re-explain the situation at no charge. We were very pleased with their responsiveness.

I purchased "Angie's Deal" for $99 for 2 hours of labor. After a rocky start of appointments being cancelled by both parties, Dustin arrived promptly on October 15. He installed the outlet; fixed my walkway lights; installed the switch on the light cord and checked my outside garage light all in about 1.5 hours and I paid $38 for parts. It was a positive experience and I would use CET again.

Danny came to my home to do an estimate, as I am hearing impaired and not able to do business over the phone. He listened to my ideas, took notes, walked around the house with me, wrote up an estimate and made an appointment for the next day that we both had an opening in our schedules. He was professional, knowledgeable, and a nice guy. Danny arrived on time on the appointed day and went through the plan with me again. Since I'd just moved into the house when he came to do the estimate, I had a few different ideas (having lived there for a couple weeks now) when he came to do the work. He listened, and told me what would work and what might work better a different way and tried to incorporate those ideas into the original plan as best he could. I was very pleased with his ideas. Then he went right to work. I offered to take him to lunch, but he didn't think he could finish if he took time out to eat, so I made him a sandwich and he ate with my son and I. He ate and went right back to work, didn't linger with us at lunch. Everything got done under the estimate. I was so pleased that he came back a few weeks later and completed some of my other ideas. He is knowledgeable, professional, hard working, and honest. I am so happy with the work, and would give him my highest recommendation.

the electrician arrived on time as promised. He traced the lines and determined where the power was coming from and explained carefully what the issue was. He made some recommendations for future work that should be done. I still need to dig a hole to see if the wire was cut and once that's done I will have them repair the line.

It went wonderfully. Dustin was very good, friendly, and personable. He was able to give me some good, straight forward advice. I spoke to the operating manager about materials over the phone and the final bill was actually a little less for additional services. They were very clean. Dustin was a very pleasant person to be around. I would recommend them. They were done efficiently and I am very happy with the results.

Overall, the job done was very good. Justin, who works for them was a very hard worker and did a great job. They do not pay him for the job. He came in, did the job and got paid based on the time here. When you pay by the time sometimes, you see people drag a little bit. But this guy was on the move the whole time. He was great. They fixed everything very well. They were on time. When they told me they would be here, they were here. Every window of time they gave me between 9:00 and 11:00 they were here. If they said, they were going to come early in the morning they were here. They were very punctual. I would certainly use them again in the future.

They were so excellent that we had them come back and do more work.

I have had some bad experiences with other electricians who overcharged for much smaller jobs and I had 15 outlets! I was prepared for a huge bill but to my suprise Certified was very reasonable. Danny, the electrician was extremely friendly, professional and punctual. He even save me money by telling me that the double tapped wire was because of the doorbell and was perfectly allowable. I will definitely refer Certified Electrical Technologies to everyone I know. I plan to use them again once I get settled into my new home.

I purchased a Big Deal on Angie's list for two hours of electical work for $99. I wanted to use it to get a ceiling fan installed in a bedroom where there was none previously. I've hung ceiling fans before but it was always onto an existing junction box and have never had to completely wire one from scractch so I thought it better to seek professional help. CET had previously installed an attic fan and I was quite satisfied with their service, so I felt very comfortable that the work would be done correctly and timely. When speaking with the dispatcher to set up the appointment, he told me that it would take well over two hours to install the junction box and wire it to the existing switch. That was fine with me since I could complete the work on my own. On the scheduled date, the technician arrived on time and greeted me cheerfully and professionally. He did a quick survey to assess the scope of the project then set about his work. I was surprised when he asked me about an hour into the project if I wanted him to install the fan as well since there was time left to do it. I quickly said yes and he was done in no time. Along the way, he was meticulous in cleaning up behind himself and asking me questions to ensure i had exactly what i wanted. He had made it clear from the start that I would be responsible for parts and I was fine with that. End result, I got much more than i asked for at a decent price of $140.

Purchased a big deal for four recessed lights for $399.00. When i called to schedule the service, i also contracted with the company to install three island pendants. CET has done electrical work for me before and I have always been satisfied with their value and performance. The technician arrived on time and was cheerful and professional. He seemed competent enough, but I got the impression he wasn't the most experienced. Nonetheless, the installation was uneventful and everthing worked as advertised. The only reason I cannot give an overall grade of A for this project is attention to detail. There's a two gang box already on the wall and I think he should have given me the option of putting the new switch into a 3 gang box. It would have looked much nicer than having a single switch next to two. Also, I noticed the box is mounted uneven which further detracts from the overall look. Minor details, for sure but details nonetheless. I would still recommend and use CET for future electrical projects.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for 2 hours of work for $99. The overall experience was great. My appointment was between 8-12 and he showed up at 10:45 and even called 30 minutes prior to getting to my house, which was great since I was out running errands. Upon arrival, I explained to him the work to be done, which included going up into the hot attic. He was done with the work in a little under two hours and explained to me what he did to fix the problems. He was very professional and I would definitely hire this company again.

We purchased this through the Angie's Big Deal. We needed to reschedule once sure to power outages after Hurricane Irene, and thecompany was very thankful that we gave them 24 hours notice. The technician who came was smart, proficent, and skilled. I would highly recomend their services and will certainly use them the next time I need electrical assistance. I have already given their information to a neighbor who needs electrical help.

All went well...I was very pleased. We will be using them again in the future for sure!

Very nice and went beyond the call of duty to walk us through fixing it ourselves for free.

Danny called to say he was stopping to get parts and then would be here. He was friendly and yet professional. He got everything done in an excellent and timely way, even letting me substitute some materials I had been able to get at Lowe's at the last minute). He did not need the full 2 hours (maybe 1.5 or so), but he had easily spent 15 minutes at the electrical supplier. I did in fact need some of those supplies, and he charged me fairly for them.Danny also recommended the replacement of my circuit-breaker box and got the needed information to have a quote sent to me (though his initial verbal quote seemed high).I would definitely call them again for electrical needs.

They originally came out on 8/18/11 as part of an Angie's list special of two hours labor for $99. At that visit they fixed the pull string light, installed the door bell, did a safety check, and took down the ceiling lamp. After I had the lamp repaired at a lamp shop, they came back out on 8/31/11 to reinstall it and to replace 3 smoke alarms. They agreed to again charge $99 for the return visit instead of the normal $125, so the total labor charge for the 2 visits was $198. I supplied all parts and materials. Everything went very well. Both Rob on the first visit and Danny on the second visit were very helpful and professional. They worked very expeditiously. They were both friendly and courteous and were very patient in answering my questions. Both visits were positive experiences and I would feel very confident in using Certified Electrical Technologies again.
