On the phone before the appointment, I was advised to buy a replacement fan in case the repair couldn't be made. Although this was not necessary, it was nice to be prepared. The electrician tended to and repaired several light switches that had also been damaged by the lightning strike. He was professional and very helpful. I will definitely use CET again, but hopefully not too soon! May the lightning god hear my plea.

I had bought one of the big deals for 2 hours of electrical service. The gentleman who came, Danny, Was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and quick. He set up wiring for 2 ceiling fans, on vaulted bedroom ceilings, through my attic in 2 hours. He didn't go over the time. When I called to set up the appointment, they told me the approximate charges for the material. Everything went exactly as they had described on the phone. I was very impressed.

I was impressed by the customer service from the time I called to schedule the service to the arrival of the technician and the completion of the work. The technician answered all my questions and thoroughly explained what had been wrong with the ceiling fixture and the outlet. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely use them again!!!

I found them on Angie's List through a deal I got in my email. The work was great and they did a great job. They were excellent. I had never known them before but they were great.

Dan arrived on time and ready to go to work. He professionally and skillfully completed the jobs I had with about 30 minutes left. I would highly recommend this contractor and will use them again.

First, I would like to say this company is very flexible. I was unable to keep the original appointment, they were understanding and rescheduled to another day that was more convenient for me and they were pleasant about it. On the morning of the service, I received a call advising they were enroute. Two gentlemen arrived and asked me to provide them with the details of my problem and they went straight to work. The removal of the timer was quick and efficient. The hallway light did take a little more investigation than the timer. After attempting to repair at the switch, they determined it was a problem in the light itself they grabbed a ladder, located and solved the problem in about 30-40 minutes the entire project was complete and then there was light. They gentlemen were professional, pleasant and expressed real concern about me not having a switch plate to reinstall in the hallway and cautioned me twice t take care when using the light switch. I would defintely recommend this company! I have found an electrician I feel confident in calling. I already have other projects in mind. Thank you very much!

When I called to schedule the work with Certified, I found them to be very helpful in setting up a date and time to do the work. The electrician was prompt, courteous and thorough. He assessed the issue with the outlet and explained precisely why moving it even 2 inches would be an involved process. I asked him if he could at least replace the old outlet with a newer one including the face plate and he was more than willing to accommodate the request. He also fixed the problem with the 2-way light switch in both the foyer and downstairs hallway which turned out to be a minor wiring problem. I was very happy with the service from Certified and would recommend them to others.

I used a 'Big Deal' coupon I purchased on Angie's list. This company is extraordinarily efficient. As soon as I made the appt, I received an email, postcard reminder, and phone call reminder before the service. I was the last appt of the day for the electrician, and he was just as patient and cheerful as one could be. He worked outside in the dark and bitter cold to replace an outlet that had failed. He got right to work, and I will be calling them again for additional electrical services.

The job went nicely. The light was on when Danny left, however the light went out about 15 minutes after he left. We called CET and Danny came out a few days later and checked the light switch but found nothing wrong. We arranged for him to return and dig up the ground wire assuming that was the culprit, but the light remained on from that day forward and we did not require additional service. The light has been on for the past 3 months without incident. Thank you, Danny. We'll be calling again later in the year for electrical work in the backyard.

I was very pleased overall. The completed work looked neat and the cleanup was thorough. I will definitely use CET again for any further electrical work.

After some issues with delays (rescheduled on day, delay on second day), tech finally arrived and got right to work. He rewired all outlets on main floor for grounded service and added an outlet in bedroom. Tech was quick and competent and reasonably priced. Will use again for electrical service.

He was extremely helpful. When he repaired the outlets the GFI tripped and it took a lot of hunting to find the GFI that tripped. He was quick and he answered a lot of questions. He was very patient. I have recommended him to someone else.

I bought the big deal in the summer $99 for 2 hours of electrical work. We scheduled the appt. and had 3 outside lights installed as well as a roof fan disconnected (it had stopped working and we will get rid of when roof is done). When the Danny( the electrician ) was done he asked what else could he do. We were very happy even though he was done in less then the 2 hours. Excellent work and cleanup. Highly recommend.

The electrician was amazing! Danny was fast and did an excellent job. I had an Angie's List Big Deal for 2 hours and they had to delay my appointment because they were busy with the Big Deals. I was amazed at how quickly Danny worked--and with the excellent quality of his work. I had a hard time coming up with things to fill 2 hours. My husband and I had each tried unsuccessfully to fix the doorbell, and Danny did it in 20 minutes and it works perfectly. His other work was completed quickly and well. CET was great with sending a postcard reminder, and email reminder, and calling 30 minutes before they arrived.

This is the second time I've used CET. My last experience went so well that I scheduled another appointment to install 3 more ceiling fans. They did a good job on the installation and kept things clean. I had a slight issue with the billing, but CET was very responsive and quickly corrected it beyond my expectations. CET greatly values good service, quality work, and customer satisfaction.

Both times the electrician arrived on time, did the work and cleaned up after they finished.

First switch installed was defective; he came back promptly and fixed it with no problems.

Having squeezed in an appointment with CET for the Tuesday before Christmas, I was somewhat worried about the fact that I would be patching and painting holes in my living room from where wiring would be run for new recessed lights, but figured it was just what had to be done. Much to my surprise the technician, Danny, who arrived promptly and after calling ahead, took a look at the situation and offered another solution which involved a bigger, rectangular, hole in my bedroom wall but would leave NO holes in my soon-to-be-filled-with-relatives living room. I agreed, and Danny proceeded to climb through a very small space many, many times (turns out a roof rafter bisected the crawlspace), leaving me with a living room that looks as though the lighting was always there. Danny put the drywall in the bedroom back in place so all that's left is spackling/paint touch-up and when my company arrived that night the downstairs looked fantastic. I appreciate that Danny was willing to crawl over and under and battle fiberglass insulation for my satisfaction! All the other things on our list Danny did thoroughly and efficiently and was friendly but not too chatty. There were a couple of tasks which couldn't be completed at the initial visit because the sockets of two fixtures were bad and I had not chosen replacements but scheduling Danny's return was easily done through the office (I spoke with Gary at the Towson phone number) and he finished up right after the holidays. From start to finish, my experience with CET was great. I recommend them highly!

They were good. The downside was that they were so busy they couldn't get to me in time.
