Do have all of your materials purchased in advance of the work. Don't expect the technician to do work outside of his area of professional responsibility (removing drywall, etc.) You will be very happy with this firm!

The hole was already in the ceiling, but it had to be adjusted to avoid joist in ceiling. Putting power to the hole went smoothly. Adding the remote control to the fan, not so well. My house has a shallow roof, so it took a lot of effort for the electrician to run a wire down the exterior wall for the remote control switch. The remote control we purchased had confusing schematics, which didn't help the installation of the switch. The wire was finally run, and all works perfectly. The particular remote control switch relies on house power as a back up only - it is capable of working on batteries only, even though the packaging of the switch did not say so.

The person I spoke with answers all my questions. They could not do the work because of the type of electrical box I have.

The Technician arrived on time and was very professional. As I watched the Technician work, he was polite and patient and explained the installation and any problems that he may have encountered. The Technician appeared to be very knowledgeable about his work.

Staff arrived promptly was very neat and very professional. These were projects that had sat around house awaiting spouse's action for over a year. Finally done! took about 3 hours total!! I am very happy with the service. Would use Certified again. I have other lighting projects I need to complete so will be calling soon.

CET did a wonderful job. They were prompt, professional and they worked fast. I bought the Angie's List deal for $125 for 2 hours of electrical work. They came out on time and it only took an hour to install a flood light in the front of the house where no light originally existed. The work was seamless and the light works perfectly. I then asked if they could rewire a sensor light on the side of the house that only works when the basement light is on. They easily did that and I haven't had any issues with that light. Everything they did was wonderful. I highly recommend this company. They are polite and they go out of their way to make you happy and to accomplish the job.

Interesting experience. Called for an estimate on recessed lighting and undercounter lights. This company will give you an estimate over the phone but will charge for the estimate if they come out. Was hoping to have an expert tell me what I would need as far as numbers of recessed lights etc. Anyway I'm moving on to someone else who is more helpful. Must be nice that they are so busy they don't need the work.D

Electrician showed up on time. We reviewed the all aspects of the work. He performed the work and showed me when he was done. It was all done quickly and professionally.

My technician did a great job of explaining what was wrong with the wiring problem that I was encountering, the techniican was extremely prompt and knowledgeable. It went well. I purchased a big deal from them. They scheduled me in a timely fashion. When the workers were in my home, they were pleasant and easy to communicate with. The light fixtures were installed quickly and they way I wanted. Also, months later I was ready to have them come out and do a service call and they told me how to fix the problem over the phone so I didn't have to pay!

When I first called to make the arrangement, I discussed my needs with a representative of the company. He made recommendations based on that conversation and quoted an accurate time requirement, and the reuiqrement for additional materials. On the day of the installation, the technician called in advance, arrived on time and did exactly what I expected. Everything works fine, and I will use the company again.

I used the Angie's List special 2 hours of professional electrical work for $125. I have used this company in the past and was very satisfied with their professionalism and quality of work. The technician was prompt, experienced and very professional. I felt bad due to the weather conditions (freezing rain & snow), but the work was completed without any issues. A+++ I will use these folks again!

The scheduling of the appointment was delayed as the first appointment was canceled due to the non-availablility of the electrician at the last minute though I was warned in advance. The rescheduled appointment went without a hitch. I will consider them to do the upgrades recommended since they are essential.
