On the original job using the Angie's coupon, the electrician replaced lights in the bathroom and on the back porch. He also dismantled, checked, and replaced the motor in a noisy bathroom fan.

The two guys came in and went right down to the basement to check the furnace, after turning up the thermostat so the furnace would turn on. They did their job, offered me a 1-year service agreement, and left in a timely fashion.

We had some outlets converted. That went well. We also had electricity run to a new bath light. We later found out it is probably not to code and the vanity and toilet seat were nicked in the process. Also, the male that answers phones for the company is surly to say the least.

Overall it went well. The tech was competent but not customer friendly. He terminated the initial visit early (before the work was complete) and told us we would lose the rest of the time we had purchased on the deal. (We would have lost $90 because he had additional jobs scheduled elsewhere even though we had fully described the work that was needed before he arrived. He was likely over-scheduled and tried to have us pay the price.) The company owner was great to deal with and fixed the situation. The final work product was good and the price was very good (due to the Angie's list deal)

Phil arrived on schedule and took charge. His trouble shooting skills were direct and aggressive. It was a pleasure to watch him work. The problem was GFI related. He checked all outlets on the GFI circuit one after another and when he had checked all of the outlets that I thought were on that circuit he found another and that was the culprit. He replace the outlet and the problem was fixed.

A very pleasant experience working with Eric from CET. He was very courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. He also answered all of my questions. We were very happy with the end result. In addition, I failed to mention to Eric that we had told CET earlier that we were using the 10% off coupon for Angie's List users. After he left, I emailed CET and Gary quickly responded that this will be taken care of immediately. Highly recommended!

Scheduling the work with CET was very easy and prompt. Steve scheduled a date and time to accommodate my availability. All work expectations and CET policies were clearly communicated. Email and phone reminders were sent in advance of the work date. Phil arrived on time and reviewed the planned scope of work and their priority before starting. Nearly all work was completed using materials I purchased in advance. Phil kept me informed of any abnormal discoveries or adjustments needed before moving forward without my approval. The scope of work to be completed in two hours was quite ambitious but Phil moved through the complete list in the allotted time. All work areas were neatly returned to their original state and the work was completed to my satisfaction. Having CET complete this work was a very favorable experience. Thanks Phil and Steve.

As promised, Eric called approximately 30 minutes in advance to give me an arrival time, ladder over his shoulder; I pointed out the new fixtures and where they were to go, and he headed out to the truck to bring in the needed materials. He also pointed out that removing the recessed ceiling light was going to leave a hole in the ceiling that was larger than the mounting for the new chandelier, but I had also purchased the proper-sized ceiling medallion to take care of that. He made short work of installing the new wall sconce--putting in a junction box, pulling a wire from an outlet directly below it, adding a new single-pole switch next to the double-pole switch that controlled some hall lights and installing the new two-gang switch cover. The chandelier mounting required the removal of a 40-year-old recessed can that really didn't want to come out at first, but he loosened it up and got rid of it. The rest of the job went quickly. Before he finished tightening the mounting screws, he even asked me to take a look at its distance from the ceiling to make sure that it was where I wanted it--nice touch! On a previous visit, he had installed an updated timer for the outside light above my front door; because of the size and shape of the new timer, I then needed to purchase a new switch cover in a configuration that is not readily available at most of the home improvement centers. The one that I ultimately found was not fitting properly (I couldn't get one end to snug up to the wall), so he took a look at it and noticed that there was a ridge on the inside that was not clearing the top of the timer plate. That made me feel better; I'm not accustomed to losing the battle with a piece of plastic and some screws! I have since visited an electrical supply store and ave found one that does, in fact, fit all the way on. Certified Electrical Technologies remains my electrical service company of choice. The office staff is helpful and efficient when I call to make a service request, and Eric is professional, competent, well-prepared, easy to work with and always ready to answer a question.

The appointment went very well. He performed all the work to my specification.

Eric arrived on time and was very personable. He went right to work going through his steps to troubleshoot the issue. He quickly identified the problem with the breaker wire and corrected it. Noting that the problem can often occur when screws come loose securing the wire into the breaker, he quickly went over all other breakers and tightened the screw to avoid a repoeat problem. In wrap up, he answered any other questions that I had about other electrical services at another property, explaining the Company's capabilities.

The technician arrived within 15 minutes of the beginning of the 4 hour window that was given. We were called the day before to confirm and called again when the technician was on his way. He was very professional and appeared to be very competent. He worked efficiently and performed the work in a reasonable amount of time with no damage to any of the outlets or baseboards. I plan to use them for all my future electrical needs.

The service was fine. I have no complaints with their service and I am pleased.
