Eric was great. He was on time and friendly and worked diligently. My only problem is that I think I overpaid, even with the coupon. Earlier in the day, I had asked what their hourly rate was because I had some more work I was thinking about having done. The receipt he gave me was for 3 hours of work. I can't remember the exact numbers, but after he left, I remember thinking that I would have paid less if I HAD NOT bought the coupon and just hired them outright. I'm not upset, but I'm definitely going to do some research before I buy another coupon. I can't imagine this job would have ever cost $447, much less $1,250.

Phil was very nice and did a great job fixing all of our random things. We purchased the coupon on Angie's list, and we went over the two hours, which Phil was very conscious of. I told him that it was fine to go over and that we would pay for the over time. Still, we prioritized what needed to get done and what we wanted done. I think he got 99% of our list done. The company called to follow-up about our service and I said that one of the outlets he worked on (it was a strange configuration by design) was not aligning with the plate that we purchased. They sent Phil back out again within a few days and he fixed it with no additional charge.

the setting up of service was very easy and pleasant. the tech arrived on time and after reviewing what I wanted to do proceeded to complete all work as requested and then did a complete check of all electrical systems.

Originally purchased this deal back in July '12 but couldn't get around to setting up an appt (I had a busy schedule). I called as a I was concerned about it expiring but they said it was ok to use anytime after the expiration date. YES! On the date of the service, Eric called ahead of time was able to show up earlier than expected which was fine with me. In less than 2 hours he was able to install a fixture (for me to later install a ceiling fan). He was very courteous and very pleasant to work with. He was detailed and explained what he will be doing to set expectations. He answered any questions I had, even for possible future work I had in mind. Will certainly use Certified Electrical again! Thank you!

It went well. It could have been a little better but the electrician was very friendly and professional which is most important when a stranger is in your home. I felt comfortable with him completing work.

Excellent work -- only complaint is I needed large fluorescent bulbs replaced in garage but there policy is not to transport bulbs in their trucks so I was unable to have that done.

On time, below the quoted price, and very professional. I would definitely hire them again.

He was very prompt and he assessed the situation. He was friendly and polite. However, I am still having the same reoccurring problem with the outlets not working, even the outside outlets. On his end, he did do a very good job but I have since called back to let them know and they haven't called me back.

Windows were being replaced with sliding doors. Everything went as well as possible.

I got one of those daily offers, $140 for 2 hours. The guy who showed up (Eric) was precise and helpful; he explained in detail what he was going to do to assess the problems we presented. He fixed one of two, but for the other unfortunately we didn't have a replacement needed. He will have to come back once we have the piece. Of course in the meanwhile, the 2 hours deal was kind of wasted. I understand it's not their fault, but clearly more of a risk one gets when buys a coupon for something. How were we supposed to know we needed a replacement part, if nobody ever looked at the broken light before? Overall good service, I'll call them again in the future if needed.

The technician arrived on time and was very courteous and friendly. I explained what I needed him to fix and he did the job, He recommended that I might want to get a new flourescent light since this one was very unsteady in the ceiling and the bulbs were not going to be around much longer. He said his company could do it or I could do it myself if I felt I could. We also talked about replacing the fuse box. I brought up that the house had been built in 1969 and some other workmen recommended replacing it. He checked it out and said that it worked just fine. He also gave me an estimate of what it would cost if I wanted to replace it. We went upstairs and I asked about installing a ceiling fan in the diningroom. He answered all my questions about that type of job.

I gave CET a very good review initially because I thought the work was performed correctly, on-time and at a reasonable price. Subsequent events have caused me to amend my review to "lousy". The initial job (April 25) included relocation of a wall outlet to make room for a new picture window. The window installers arrived on Tuesday (June 3) to begin work. after opening the wall for the new window it was evident that the relocated outlet wires would interfere with placement of the new window header. One might argue that the electrician should have know this and rerouted the wires correctly, but I was more concerned with getting a window installed in what was now a very large hole in my front wall. I called Certified Electrical Technologies to explain the problem and ask for emergency help. After being routed to a service manager I was told the best they could do was send someone on Thursday (June 5). I explained once again why I needed immediate help and was told once again that Thursday was the earliest. As this was completely unacceptable, I was forced to look elsewhere for help. Fortunately, I was able to find an electrician who understood the situation and came to our aid within a few hours. Unfortunately, I had to pay (at emergency rates) for the same work I had already paid Certified to perform. I will not use this contractor again.

Everything went very well, I purchased a 2 hours labor for one deal and it covered both small jobs I needed done, leaving me with just $40 for supplies at the end of the morning. Would totally use them again! Punctual, responsive, polite, and efficient, what more can I ask?

I purchased a big deal from Angie's list for 2 hours of electrical work. I had to schedule a few weeks out but the technician was professional And friendly. Would call again.

The gentleman showed up on time, understood the work I needed done, he performed it *almost* to the specifications and in the end he told me that there were still 20 minutes left from the two hour segment work I had purchased and asked me if I needed anything else done! I say "almost" because there was something that I wanted a bit different but he told me that it was probably not the best way to execute it that way. But he did solve the problem, even if not the way I wanted it resolved. Just as important as the work done was that he cleaned after himself! That was especially important as the service was done so close to the holidays and I had already had the house cleaned. I was very impressed by both the work and the professionalism of the gentleman (electrician) who came as well as the company. Someone from the company called before, and after the visit to check that all was satisfactory.

We needed ceiling fans in two upstairs bedrooms. We purchased an Angie's List Deal from the website for 2 hours of electrical service from CET. They returned our calls promptly and the technician arrived on time. He ran the wire and installed the junction boxes and for an additional charge installed the ceiling fans. The job was done on time and exactly on the price we had agreed to before hand. The technician was friendly and very professional. We would use this company again.

We've had these small electrical jobs on our to-do list for a while and thought that we could take advantage of the 2 hours of labor for $150 deal to get them done. Once we purchased the deal, we called the office and spoke with Steve who promptly got us on the schedule within 4 days. He was very patient and detailed with us as we contacted him a couple of times by email and phone before the appointment to make sure we would have the right materials for the jobs waiting for the electrician. We were scheduled for an 8am-12pm appointment window, and our assigned electrician Eric called ~7:30am to let us know he would be arriving at 8am. Eric arrived right on time and even checked the outside outlets before coming in. He reviewed the scheduled jobs with us before starting and immediately got to it. Eric was prompt and pleasant; the service was great and the price was fair. We will definitely consider CET for any future electrical needs.

The technician David called when he was 30 minutes out, and showed up in the time window. He quickly diagnosed the problems and kept me informed of what he was doing and what additional costs I would have for parts.
