Work was completed and CET's representative was informative as he set about finishing the work in the allotted time.

Purchased as a Big Deal. Called to schedule visit, first available day was about a week away. We scheduled the visit for 9am to 1pm. On the scheduled day, the electrician called at about 7:30am, said his first appointment had cancelled and asked if he could come at 8am. I gladly agreed, and he showed up a few minutes after 8. It took about 20 minutes to install the surge suppressor in my breaker box, and he was very professional and pleasant throughout. He discussed what he was doing with me while he worked, and answered all my questions. He explained how it worked and how to tell if it tripped. He then cleaned things up. Overall an excellent job. Suppressor seems to be working, but I won't know until I have a surge.

This is the second time I have used this company and have received the same electrician, Eric, both times. He is very knowledgeable, professional and quick. I will plan on using this company again for future work.

The electrician called about one half hour before he arrived. He was very neat and showed me what he was doing. I could not test the interlock plate, at the time, because I did not have the proper 30-amp generator cord. However he showed me how it worked and there were brief instructions taped to the circuit box. I tested both outlets and they worked just fine. He was there about 4 hours. I ordered a 30-amp generator cord online. After it arrived, I tried it out. The interlock plate was so tight that I had to hammer it back into place. I contacted CET and made an appointment, on June 14, 2013, for the plate to be adjusted. The same electrician that installed the plate came out to make the adjustment. He called ahead of time and arrived a little before I did, but he waited and said he had recently arrived himself. He said that he would sand down the plate and see if that made it any easier to close. He did it in his truck and then let me try it out. It was a lot easier to operate. I appreciated the CET electrician's promptness and professionalism. I would recommend CET to anyone who needs electrical work done.

Everything was great. He arrived on time, worked quickly, and did an excellent job.

Contacted home office via e-mail to request installation of the units. The smoke detectors were ordered and a date for installation was chosen. Technician was one I had used in prior work performed and he did another excellent job of installing the units and testing the work to make sure the units performed as desired. Another great job accomplished by CET. This was my third time using CET. I am very pleased with the work and professionalism of the technician staff and customer service personnel.

Called before coming, was very conscientious. Worked all the time he was here. Very efficient and was done before noon.

The service is very professional but lacking in obtaining customer information. there policy is to carry just a 12 foot ladder. Anything higher is a 2 man job and requires them to rent a tall ladder. If that is the case, those questions should be clarified by the provider of service as so many homes that are 15- 20 years old have the vaulted ceilings in Great rooms. It should be there standard to ask. I bought the group for 2 hours of work and the work was finishsed in no time because the main job I called for was not completed. the work they did do was excellent. When I failed to complete an Angies List review; the company called and I explained the problem. Although the owner called back and then offered to make an apt with 2 men renting a ladder; he did not offer any discount to a new call or reduction in the original price. Better customer service would have had me return but I won't now. I would like to respond that the CET offered to come back with 2 men but mentioned nothing about unused time. thanks.

Overall, it went just fine. They did what they were supposed to.

The service turned out as expected. I got what I needed done. The scheduling worked out and they did a good job. The young man even found that one of the outlets was bad and replaced it without charge. I would bring them back when I need electrical services.

Two technicians arrived on time, one a trainee, experienced as an electrician, but new to the company. Both were professional in demeanor, and did a great job. Both were knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what they were doing and why. Once the work was done, the area was cleaned to look better than it did prior to the work.

He came out to put a couple of electrical outlets out on each end of the deck. He was prompt and professional. The work was fine and we didn’t have any problems. We were pleased.

This was somewhere around my 5th time using Certified Electrical Technologies and as always very professional - prompt, courteous, responsible, knowledgeable and with great customer service (even in the setting of their van breaking down for the day). We have a 100+ year old home so rarely are jobs straightforward but I can always count on them to get the job done right at an honest price. I will continue to use them in the future.

Everything went well. When I called to make the appointment the gentlemen who answered was polite and professional. I received a note card in the mail a few days before to remind me of the appointment time. The person who came out called beforehand to let us know when he would arrive. We would definitely not hesitate to contact CET again or to recommend them to others.

Called but never showed up to do work.

Did two jobs for me, used a big deal for $125 for 2 hours of service. I didn't know how long the jobs would take and since it costs at least that much for electrician to come out I was happy to get the deal although the jobs didn't take any longer. The electrician also gave me some good advice about light bulbs that I didn't know about using when you have a dimmer. Great experience.

Service provider showed up in time. He was friendly and professional. He was thorough and completed the job in a timely fashion.

I bought their Big Deal coupon; the offer was two hours of licensed professional electrical labor. I was not here, when he was putting the kit together, and I think he scratched a little bit of the codian off the inside of the globe and did not balance the ceiling fan, it still wobbles. Then he installed a fluorescent light in our children’s room; I made him put a dimmer switch and he made some comment to my wife saying we could not use a dimmer switch because it would not work, but of course I had researched and the dimmer switch works perfectly fine because I had got dimmable compact fluorescent bulbs; that was a little annoying. He could have tested it before speaking. The owner or lead guy that I dealt with on line was very professional and responsive. I just think that in that particular case, the electrician was not on top of the line. That was the last time that I used them but they were really good for scheduling and they were always on time. Even though they have a great price, I would just rather spend more money and get it done right.

I was very impressed with my entire experience, from the prompt phone call to schedule, the promptness of the technician, and the quality of work.

They were great. They got everything done. They even got 30 minutes early. I didn't understand anything about my electrical, so the guy spent 30 minutes explaining how it was all set up, and it was a very useful time. He was really good. I couldn't believe how fast they did the job, it was really amazing. I would definitely have them back, they were good.

Bought Angie's LIst deal (2 hours electrical work for $125). Electrician was very professional, pleasant and efficient. Accomplished more than I had expected in the 2 hours pre-purchased. Only good things to say.

Enjoyed speaking with the owner to initially set up the appointment (Gary). Got both confirming e-mails and a card in the mail to remind me of our appointment. Haven't seen that degree of professionalism in a long time. Eric, our electrician called a half hour in advance of arriving - was due between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and showed up at 9:30 a.m. Was completely done with all my tasks by 11:10 a.m. I had purchased the $140.00 deal for two hours of work. Very surprised I didn't need two hours - Eric was a very diligent worker and did not waste any of mine or his company's time. He did a great job - felt comfortable leaving him alone in the house while I was outside. He is someone that you can definitely feel confident in. Would definitely hire them again and refer them to anyone requiring electrical assistance.
