I took off of work for a scheduled appointment time between 10AM-2PM. 2PM came and went, yet I never received a phone call that a technician was on his/her way or was going to be late. I canceled this appointment due to this lack of communication and professionalism. If you value your hard-earned vacation time, don't bother taking off of work and hiring Certified Electrical Technologies. They won't honor their appointment times and/or communicate with you when when they can't make it on time.

The technician showed up on time and was able to complete the replacement in about an hour. Great job!

The job went well. The tech was quick and effective. Good price for services performed.

Turned out that a power surge blew the bulbs. Bulbs were replaced.

The Electrician came out the next day and on time. He had to do a great deal of checking before he found the problem. He had to check the breaker panel and all the outlets in the house because the house is so old. He explained in detail why he had to do all the checking. He finally found the outlet with the problem in the one bedroom with electricity. The outlet had a loose wire that caused the problem. He fixed the outlet and made sure all the rooms had electricity. He was very professional. Also, the end of last year I called the same company because many of the lights were not working. A different electrician came out, and he was just as helpful and professional. I had told him I was going to remodel the house soon so he gave me electricity where I had done but in the most economical way he could. I was appreciative of his fixes because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that may be torn down soon. His charge was also reasoable.

The services rendered were great. Arrived on time with a pre-arrival phone call. Professional and clean. Took time to explain everything. Quality job.

I hate to write this negative review because the technician was very friendly, but i feel like I was robbed. I called CET to investigate an electrical noise and to fix whatever was causing it. The technician was scheduled to arrive between 12 noon and 4 pm. The technician called me at 4:10 notifying me that he would arrive in 15 minutes. He arrived at 4:30, 30 minutes later than the four hour window provided by the receptionist. The technician arrived and investigated the electrical sound, but was not able to fix the issue or identify the cause. Further, the technician suggested that I inquire if any of my neighbors were experiencing the same issue. That was the expert advice provided! That suggestion was provided in exchanged for my hard earned money! I asked if my home was susceptible to a fire due to this noise and the technician could not assure me of my family’s safety. I sought an expert and competent assessment and resolution of my issue, but I’m left with a potentially dangerous electrical problem and a lighter wallet.

Work went great - Rob was awesome. He gave me sensible, sound advice and his work was exceptional. I have used CET in the past and because of my prior good experience I came back to them when I needed more work done. I would recommend them to anyone!

It went very well. They contacted me immediately to schedule the installation. They arrived on-time and did a great job installing our lighting. There pricing was pretty good. I'd definitely hire them again.

Great! We got advance confirmations of the appointment by both phone and email, and a phone call on the day of the appointment letting us know he was on his way. Eric arrived promptly, verified what work we needed, and gave us advice on the most effective and economical way to do so. He got to work right away, installing 4 basement outlets and converting 2 living area outlets to exactly meet our needs. This is the second time we've called CET, and are again very satisfied.

The service went very well and was completed earlier than expected. Very professional technician.

I have great things to say about Certified Electrical Technologies. Kudos to Leah who patiently answered my questions and kudos to Eric who came to my house to replace the breaker switch. After I noticed that the breaker was making arching type sounds (though not shocking me, getting hot, or smelling like it), I called them and they worked with me to determine the scope of the issue. Leah patiently answered my questions and asked great questions, so the technician could zero in on the problem and a solution. (Funny, when Eric arrived, the switch was suddenly on its best behavior again... almost like taking the car to a mechanic and it doesn't make the funny noise any longer). After some troubleshooting around the breaker box, the breaker switch that had been arching finally misbehaved again, so Eric got to work on replacing the individual switch within the breaker. I would recommend them to anyone else and I will think of Certified Electrical Technologies first for any future electrical projects that I'd like to have done. Hopefully next time I will choose the project and the project doesn't choose me. :-)

Excellent. He did that and installed another light bulb in a similar fixture. He have me helpful information about the process of installing this light bulb. I could not find the wattage and he told me that it could be up to 60 watts. He also checked my electrical outlets to see if any needed updating.

Excellent. Professional, competent, and efficient - which can be important when using hourly billed services. They are our electricians of choice and we will continue to use them for all of our home electrical needs.

This is the third time I've used this company, and once again, I was pleased with the work.

CET came out and quickly assessed the problem with the breaker and was able to move the electrical panel efficiently a few inches away from the wall since there was adequate wiring. Alan is a true professional and I would highly recommend him and CET for projects small and large!

One of the technicians even helped me with reviewing beforehand what I needed. Yes, an extra down rod was needed due to the height of my ceiling fan.

It didn't as after leaving multiple messages voice and text was finally told the work would not be done. I understand declining work, it's the ignoring calls and messages part that will have me not using this company again. Shame in that the work they had done for me in the past was of good quality.

When I called, the man who answered did not bother to identify himself and he had a huge attitude and was not helpful at all. I picked this company for the great reviews. I did not expect the person taking customer calls to cope an attitude because I wanted an estimate. First impressions are lasting ones. I won't be calling them for anything.

After calling 5 angies list electric specialized company, Certified Elec replied with reasonable answer and price. Other company asked almost $1,000 for guarantee of repair. Luckly, Cert. Electric could fix it under $400. They save us and our money. Will definitely hire their excellent service again!

I have used CET twice this year for one large and several small projects. Eric has been my electrician both times. CET and Eric have both been exceptional to work with.
