What a professional company from the beginning! I couldn't find my Deal and the person who answered the phone was so nice. She found it right away and explained I would be contacted by a person doing the scheduling. Scheduling set a time and explained the process. Rick did a great job! He called before he arrived. Arrived on time. Listened to what I wanted and completed the job quickly and professionally. He provided me with the scope of the work involved on future projects and I will use them, again, in the future! I recommend Certified Electrical Technologies.

They responded immediately after I purchased the deal and explained what it entailed. I realized that I had misunderstood the details of the deal,so when I explained that I didn't actually need their service, they were very professional and refunded my purchase with no problems.

The initial contact by phone was not very professional nor pleasant. However, the electrician who was sent out to us was outstanding. He was pleasant, professional and efficient.

It went well. We ran into a couple of problems that meant we needed to do some work to enable the electrician to install two additional bathroom light fixtures and an outlet for an above range microwave oven.

Update -I just noticed that my my review was only showing as a B...I have updated to reflect an A as this company did a great job and there were no issues! Work went well. Provider on time and explained exactly what would be done. Helped with the placement of the lights. Would use the provider again for future electrical work.

They were good and I used the Big Deal shortly after purchasing it.

Certified gave me a next-day appointment, and then came at the beginning of the time they said they would. They said "between 8:00 AM and noon," and they came shortly after8:00. The technician completed the job within 30 minutes. The charge was the lowest number in the estimated range the company mentioned on the phone. All in all, a first rate experience. I should have called them a decade ago.

We have multiple houses under our Angies Account (our residence and rental properties). We picked the Maryland property on the drop down box and selected an electrician, based on reviews, and made payment, entering the Maryland address into the billing information, as well as the drop down box. The first appointment was made and they went to the Va house. I contacted the company and they told me I provided the incorrect address. I explained the Angie's list process and the drop down box and they agreed to reschedule. Both my husband and I work and we needed an afternoon appointment, it took a few weeks for them to find one, as "there is no one in our area in the afternoon". In numerous emails it was pointed out that I provided the incorrect address. I contacted Angie's list who confirmed I did everything correct. When I told CET, they said it had happened before. I expressed my frustration that they consistently blamed me, only to be told I was the first issue. I was never offered an apology of any kind. Their customer service from a scheduling and customer interaction, I would give an F. The redeeming quality was the technician. He was professional, polite, and completed the job in a timely manner, while answering questions I had. He would get an A. He did not display any of the poor customer service that the emails from the company or the response demonstrates. Updated 3/7 In response to the provider. It is not unusual for paying customers to request times that fit around their work schedules. I have never had an issue with any other service providers. From Angie's list "we would not consider this list-sharing or misuse", as my father owns the property. I would suggest reading the responses from the company to any score below a B.

There was 13 huge holes cut in my ceiling and wall. I mean the average size hole is 10 in x 4 in. The price to repairs to holes is twice the price I paid for the deal. No professional would have cut up a house like that to install 4 recessed lights. A hole is not a cavity, some over foot long, also last conversation I had with this company, I was told the would review my complaint, and call me back, I'm still waiting

They were fine to work with. We supplied the parts and they just did the labor. There was one technician here and he arrived on time for the appointment. I was very satisfied with the work and he did not have to come back to do anything additional, he was able to get everything done in one appointment.

They were so helpful that I did not need them to come. They were wonderful and I would certainly consider using them again in the future. They had me check a few things and after doing so, I realized that I know longer needed their services.

I think it was fine- can't honestly remember what I had them do.

I'm delighted with the quality of the work. They were prompt and professional. The electrician, Eric, was very courteous and easy to work with. My only complaint would be that they expected me to dropcloth all my furniture myself, and never informed me of that until arrival. So I ended up having to use my sheets. Dropcloths are cheap enough, I would have purchased some had I known. I had this work estimated by three other electricians, and I got a really great deal thanks to buying a Big Deal through Angies List. I am very happy with the results and would definitely use them again.

We had a very positive experience. Our electrician was knowledgeable, quick, and professional. We were pleased with the end result on both jobs.

Phil had done work previously for me regarding the switches and since I did not realize that the one switch pertaining to the kitchen area was what they called a three-way switch system, he had to come back and check out the one that was not working. Phil took the time to explain to me that due to it being a three-way system it would benefit me to change the one we had forgotten so that they all worked since it was so old. I appreciate that Phil was being proactive regarding this matter and helping me not to have to call all the time. I would most definitely use this provider again and have recommended them to friends. It's a great feeling knowing that you getting a good job done and they are fair too.

No work was performed. UPDATE: This provider did not ever indicate that the coupon would not be honored! My comments were meant only to express that I was not able to make use of the Big Deal - due to my own fault with not being able to schedule the work. I apologize for not making that clear in my initial review. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future.

These guys are great. They are #1 on Angie's list when you search for electiricians/lighting and now I know why. They are very professional, prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Also installing an outdoor light with no complaints in 5 degree weather is very respected. I will definitely be calling them for future lighting, electrical work. These guys definitely know what they are doing.
