Every question a asked Eric he took the time to answer to my satisfaction- up grading electrical power in our basement, to how the electrical wires were connected in the master bedroom, he even took time to make friends with my Jack Russell who is very busy checking out his every move in the house - he was friendly, & accommodating. Our oven went out and we originally called an appliance repair man. He came out and pretty quickly identified that we had a problem with the either the electrical outlet or the oven breaker. I called CET on a Friday and they were able to come out the following Monday. They provided an 8-12 arrival window and called around 9:45 on the day to let us know they were about 20-30 minutes away. When our technician arrived he worked very quickly and completed the work in less than 30 minutes. He identified moisture in the breaker box that caused the oven breaker to go bad, sealed the leak from the outside and changed out the bad breaker. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely contact CET if we need an electrician in the future.

We received a phone call on 12/3 in response to my message sent through their online contact form. The technician I spoke with, Steve Elkins, asked that I email him photos of the outlets and the light to be fixed. I sent the email with pictures the morning of 12/4. I received no response, so on 12/11 I sent a follow up email. Still no response. We were ready to have this work done immediately, but it looks like CET is not interested in our business. ****UPDATE**** After posting my negative review, I received a call within 24 hours. I was pleased to find that CET takes note of dissatisfied customers and works to make it right. The work was scheduled, the technician arrived on time, and the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. The technician was very courteous and the pricing fair. I would use this company again.

CET was incredibly responsive to my calls, was able to schedule an appointment for me within the week, and was able to do the work for me in less than 1/4th the price of another estimate I obtained. I was super impressed with the speed, accuracy, and quality that technician Dave was able to complete this work. He also diagnosed and fixed a non-electric related noise coming from the fan. He was respectful, personable, and relatable. I would not hesitate to use CET again, especially if they send Dave!!!

Eric showed up right on time and quickly got to work. He was able to install recessed lighting, move a hallway lighting fixture and rewire three lights so that they were controlled by switches all in one day. He was professional, courteous and fast! I would absolutely recommend them and would use them in the future.

Went great! Got us scheduled quickly, they were prompt, the work was done quickly and cleanly, and it looks great!! Couldn't be happier.

The drain in the bathroom wasn't working well. They got the job done quickly. Most people wouldn't spend the time they spent and They don't try to sell you extra services. They were more in casual clothes with was uncool.

They have a lot of different technicians but same personnel, I really trust them. I needed to have a couple of switches changed out and I was also having issues with an outdoor line, ultimately the solution he came with didn't help it wound up not staying with in the confines of the deal, he came up with a solution that seemed like it would work but because it was like the boxes wound up filling with water when it would rain and sorted out, so he was trying to do it in a way that kept me from have like a thousand dollars of repair work, I appreciated that he tried something that would be able to be done with in the time frame but it wound up not being a perfect solution for me.

The provider (sorry, I forgot his name although as nice as he was, I shouldn't have forgotten) called me 1/2 prior to his arrival time. He started working immediately and explained the process thoroughly. Since there was no pre-existing wiring in the room, he needed to go into the attic (not an easy task since its just a narrow open in the closet ceiling). He explained that he needed to cut holes in the walls to find the wiring and also explained that they do not do patch work. I gave him the go ahead. He made three neat squared off holes in the walls. Although I was mildly upset that I now have to pay someone to repair the walls, I was informed prior to his starting the work. Once he ran the lines, he quickly installed the fan. He was courteous throughout his time in my house and did not stop working until the job was finished.

Unacceptable. After wasting 36 hours of my time waiting for a response to a simple electrical project, I get a call and the person from CET explains that they only have one person electricians that go to perform work at sites. In my house, 75% or more of the electrical work would take a team of at leat two electricians to complete the work properly. CET's decision only to have one person Electrician's work on project is a cost cutting measure that they made the decision is appropriate. This exercise in contacting them was a complete waste of time not to mention the persono on the phone was rude and arogant for no appearent reasoon; I'mnot sure that I would allow this company to change alight bulb in my house. If I needed one electrician to work on a project, then I would do the job myself. If you are looking for a capable and competent electrical contractor, my recommendation is that you search elsewhere -- your time will be wasted with this company.

The folks at CET did not disappoint, once again. They arrived on time, well within the window of service, and did place a pre-call to the house to announce their arrival. (I was expecting that call on my cell - but they did reach out, and the message was received). Once at the home, the technician performed the work quickly and completely. Another great job. Added bonus this time around: we had thought our recessed light was beyond repair, and had in fact bought a new one that was waiting to be installed. CET could have easily installed that light for us - and taken the 1/2 hour of labor charges to do it. Instead, the technician alerted us that the can in the ceiling COULD actually be fixed - and he could do it right then and there at a cost of $18 for the needed part. We said yes of course -- and thus we were saved about $47 of labor, and the cost of the new fixture (about $20), which we instead were able to return to the store. It's this kind of service that will keep us coming back to CET. Thanks again!

I knew one of the switches was bad, but wasn't sure which. I also wasn't sure if there was a fourth switch or not - since I knew there were two three-ways and one four-way, but I suspected there was another four-way in the circuit somewhere. While the tech was very nice it took him what he said was three hours to hang the (small) chandelier and replace the switches and I was charged a half hour for his travel time as well. He arrived at the door 11:07 and announced he was finished at 2:40 so there was some favorable rounding of time in there while he packed up his things and with the extra half hour of "service" for his travel it brought our bill over the $300 mark. While the service was good the price was not. I appreciate that these folks are trained professionals, but when you bill in half hour increments you should not be rounding up.

Technician called a half hour before arriving. He was very professional and immediately began to inspect my home. I had a lot of questions and he answered them with no hesitation and very clearly.

From the time we called to the when the technician drove away everyone was courteous, timely, expert in their job, and a pleasure to work with. I forgot which day they were coming so I called. They verified the day and were able to narrow the time window for me so I wouldn't have to wait around as much. They didn't have to do that, but when they saw they could, and they thought it might benefit me, they went ahead and did it. It's not a huge thing, but its characteristic of how the people were generally and it makes me pleased to do my business here.

Had the electrician remount a GFCI box, and evaluate an outlet and the main service wire insulation for a buyer's repair request based on a home inspection. He did a great job and was very informative, but he did spend almost the entire visit on the phone, which is a little irritating. I would use this provider again.

Did great job, recessed lights look great, no follow up patch work needed. Was able to install new outlet without having to cut thru wall.

It went great and they provided great service

The initial service when fine, however the installed the plug for the range such that the range could not be installed. They also installed another connection box next to a door and when they left I realized they had blocked the door from being shut where they installed it. When they called to ask how the service was I mentioned that I now couldn't install my range without moving the plug they installed and that I could not longer close the door into my apartment. I never heard from them again and had to move both of them myself.

I'm recently inherited a house and needed to make sure the electrical was up to code. CET was recommended to me so I contacted then to check things out. The technician checked out the panel which was fine. However he discovered and explained that the wiring for the outside lights and plug in the back of the house had not been done correctly and also represented a safety hazard. I hired them to correct the issues. The technician arrived promptly and performed all work within the estimated time. The work was well done and I am very satisfied with the outcome.

Electrician arrived within 20 minutes of call, and after going over everything, got right to work. Based on his observation and experience, I was happy to discover I did not need to install GFI outlet in master bath. He installed new fixture over vanity, and repaired a 2nd fixture, and replaced switch in guest bath. I will definitely use Certified Electrical Technologies again, and will recommend to my neighbors!
