Both electricians were there a bit early, dealt well with unexpected changes (the whole neighborhood lost power at one point, unrelated to their work) and were professional and friendly throughout. They did good clean work, explained everything they did, and were done on time. The people I spoke to on the phone and by email were friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and even had a sense of humor. Always good, that sense of humor.

This company is great to work with. They were fast, kind, courteous, explained everything and had very competitive prices. The technician was very knowledgable about how to complete the job with the least amount of mess and need to cut holes in the wall. He explained everything in detail before completing any work and kept me abreast of his progress throughout the day. Allen was incredibly prompt and arrived exactly when he said he would. He called 30 minutes before arrival which meant I could leave work when I needed to instead of burning up leave sitting around waiting. This alone saved me money! When he arrived wearing Chuck Taylors and a cool newsie hat, I knew I had a good guy. He grabbed a small set of tools and walked up to my place with me. Once inside, he used one of his tools to check the wiring as part of his diagnostic process, and determined that only the outlet was bad, not the wiring. He replaced the outlet in about 90 seconds while talking to me (I was asking questions because I'm an annoying customer!) and once he had replaced the outlet cover, he tested it and showed me that it was working. He pulled out his paperwork which took maybe another 5 minutes and was out the door. From meeting him in the parking lot to seeing him out the door was maybe 20 or 25 minutes. Much of that was walking time and paperwork. He was incredibly efficient, personable, respectful of my home, and he even answered my geeky questions. He billed me exactly what was quoted over the phone with no surprises. I'm a very happy customer and would gladly welcome them into my home again for any other electrical issues. Another important detail: they scheduled me within 2 days! I called Tuesday afternoon, and they came Thursday afternoon. Also, they include their showup fee in their first half hour pricing...and it's a super reasonable price. The other 2 services I called were way more expensive AND didn't have any availability until later in the week or next week. These folks were great.

I called and was able to get someone to come out next day. Phil did a great job. He explained beforehand that he would need to to cut section(s) of the drywall in the garage to run a copper wire from the service panel to the gas pipe outside the garage. He wanted my approval before he made the cut. He used existing holes used by the electric meter and cable to minimize the cut to one location. He put the cut piece back and screwed it to the stud to minimize its appearance. I would use CET again if there is a future need.

Excellent services. They updated my electric panel to code. Fix lose electrical connections throughout the house. Put 2 six foot galvanized steel poles in the ground to ground the electrical panel bring it to code. Very happy with the customer service.

I found out (unfortunately after I bought my house) that the electrical wiring in my house was scrambled up. My contractor had a maintenance electrician fix some stuff after another electrician he employed could not figure it out. I replaced all the old battery operated smoke detectors with new hard wired smoke/Carbon-monoxide detectors. I wanted to bring the house up to code by having all the detectors upstairs and downstairs on the same electrical loop. For some reason they could not get one of the detectors to stop chirping. I returned the detector for a new one and still 24/7 chirping. I also had a ceiling fan with lights that had a switch for the lights below the fan and one for the fan just inside the dining room door. Then there was a dimmer switch just before you entered the master bedroom. Depending on which switch you turned off or on in combination with other switches different things would happen. Worst of all if the lights were on and you turned on the fan the lights would dim quite a bit then get really bright. The technician went immediately to work on the dining room lights and within minutes agreed with me that whoever tried to wire this ceiling fan/light had no business touching anything electric let alone wiring it. He tried to fix it but there was not enough wire so he fixed it where it would turn off and on normally but the dimmer had to be removed or tear up the drywall and run more wiring. Then he rewired the smoke detector and it quit chirping. He admitted it must have been a broken connection at the wire nut and he just got lucky and by reworking the connections it worked properly. I liked the fact he did not take credit for just a simple fix. Then he evaluated my breaker box and said when he drove up he looked at the service running into the house and noticed it was fairly new. The box was a newer box and everything seemed fine. He advised me to not worry about upgrading until I had to. I had a lot to go before I needed to upgrade to a 400 amp service. The guy worked fast and was very personable. I wanted a professional to look at my situation and thats what I got.

CET installed a new electrical panel, and spent a lot of time explaining the options without hard-selling upgrades. They were easy to work with and there have been no issues since installation.

David called 30 min ahead to announce his arrival. He arrived right on time. He completed the job quickly, demonstrated that everything worked properly and, most importantly, made disposal of the old fans very easy for us by disassembling them and packing up the parts in boxes - no mess!!! At the time of service, he also went over 2 future projects with us, for which we wanted an estimate. He was very thorough, explained everything in detail and provided alternative options whenever necessary. This is the second time we used CET for electrical projects and both times we were very happy with the services provided !

After purchasing the deal I received a schedling e-mail within 24 hours for the date requested. Rob called 30 mins prior to his arrival and came within the scheduled appointment window. Within an hour and a half all outlets were changed out. Rob was frendly and worked very efficiently. Will hire again for other electrical needs.

Allen arrived on time and tackled each project expertly and quickly. We had some challenges related to our 90 year old construction that made some projects more difficult, but he provided suggestions and solutions we hadn't thought of that will work better and save us money. For example, we wanted to add lighting in an upstairs bedroom without attic space above it and we weren't sure where all the power sources were. Rather than take a gamble to drill a hole in the ceiling hoping to find power (which he said he would do if I wanted) he suggested placing a brightly lit sconce on the entry wall by the door way (the sure bet). Also, we asked about adding an exhaust fan with heater in the bathroom and he pointed out that our existing fan was actually high quality (powerful, quiet, and in good condition) and that we could use a wall heater instead. This will do a better job of heating the bathroom and save on install costs because the location is easier to connect to the circuit breaker box. We plan on asking him to come back to do these projects next week once we have all the required parts on hand.

The experience was perfect from beginning to end! Mr. Epstein, who I believe is the owner, called me promptly to discuss the laundry list of electrical tasks I sent by email. We made an appointment at my convenience and I was even able to get an Amazon Local coupon for two hours of electrical work for $99! They gave me a 4 hour window and, as promised, they called half an hour before arrival to let me know they were on their way and arrived during that 4 hour window. David, the electrician who did our work, was personable, pleasant, recommended against spending money that I had thought would be necessary, and made recommendations in a number of areas. Another company said we'd need a a $400 circuit breaker replacement. David showed me that the problem was just that the circuit switch was stiff and how to turn it on properly. He also said that the culprit in the circuit breaker switching off occasionally was probably the 10 year old razor my husband was using. We thought we'd have to replace a ceiling fixture that had a small crack, but David showed me that the crack was only on the surface of the thick glass, was covered by the hardware, and was perfectly safe - so I can return the $125 replacement I thought I'd need. For a few odd recessed lighting fixtures, he wrote down the exact kind of bulbs I should get. Communication with both the office and the technician was excellent and efficient. We could not be happier with them!!

We were very happy with the service provided. The electrician worked quickly and efficiently. The fan and switch work and look well done. Best of all, the cost was $400 less than we had been quoted by another company.

My initial appointment was between 10-2 pm. By 1 pm, I had not heard from the technician, so I gave them a call. Turns out he was held up at his previous job, but they were able to get to me later in the afternoon. Technician was very kind. He was prompt and did the job within about 20 minutes.

David arrived on time. Inspected electrical panel and dishwasher wires. Stated that he didnt need to run a new wire to the panel because there was enough to work with. Finished within an hour. Offered to look at the electrical panel because another company had said it needed to be moved to the tune of $11,000. David pointed out that this company worked on commission so routinely overcharged. He seemed very knowledgeable. I would recommend using this company.
