Brigid is amazing! We wanted to update our kitchen and improve the functionality of our living room. We gave her a budget and an overall idea of our style and were blown away by the result. She stayed within budget, and more importantly gave us first level we absolutely love coming home to. We were so impressed that we're going to use her to plan out our basement family room now. It went suburby -- as we knew it would because we had the good fortune to work with Brigid in 2014 when we remodeled our upstairs bathrooms. She has a great sense of design and really listens to her customers. Our style is much more conservative than hers but she never pushed us out of our comfort zone. The end result from both projects far exceeded our expectations. We would -- and have -- recommended Brigid to family and friends.

Chick Interiors knew the vision I had for my new bathroom - spa and zen like. Brigid made it happen. She is very creative and came up with ideas that I never even thought of, such as using river rocks to surround the base of our free standing tub. I highly recommend Brigid to anyone needing help with any improvements. She will make your space look beautiful.

We found Brigid to be professional, enthusiastic and responsive.  She listened to our likes and dislikes and identified our "style". Her layout and suggestions were instrumental in helping us to move forward in selection of furniture, window and floor coverings, lighting, art and paint colors.  She was mindful of our budget and provided alternatives when we asked for them.  The people she referred us to (for painting, furniture, and window coverings) were excellent.   She nudged us out of our dated comfort zone to create a modern and cohesive look for the first floor of our home.  We would not hesitate to call her again!  Highly recommend her for those feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start or who just want to update their decor.

When we decided to give our house a decorating facelift, I was stuck on where to even begin.  Our home is an open, contemporary design in the city with no square walls.  Couple that with a few beams running through the rooms and I was a total loss on how to decorate this space.  A few decorators were recommended to me via our community website.  After meeting with a few, I knew Brigid would be the one to get this party started! 



Her enthusiasm, knowledge, keen sense of style and attention to detail were amazing!  Most of all she listened and designed with our priorities in mind.  She made this daunting task of redecorating a most enjoyable experience--I'm kind of sad it's over!  I would send her pictures of ideas and she kindly would suggest something else if she didn't think I was going down the right path.  Brigid generously shares her industry discounts and vendor connections resulting in huge savings.  She's fun, witty and energetic.....you will thank me for recommending her!

Brigid was fantastic!  I very much enjoyed working with her and found her to be responsive and understanding.  She worked within my budget and I never felt pressure to overspend.  I love my new rooms and would recommend her without hesitation!

Brigid is terrific.  She gave us sound advice, made wonderful decorating suggestions, connected us with great professionals who did the work, kept us on track, and helped us to buy items at a discount. She taught us a lot about color, proportion, light, and the like, and pushed us a bit outside of our comfort zone when we needed it. She helped us with our materials selections (paint color, wood flooring, counter tops, cabinetry, fabric), and showed us how things could go together in ways we had not thought of. She also designed our family room for us.  She provided us with two plans, and included fabric swatches, paint suggestions, and links to places where we could buy the furniture she was suggesting -- she made it so easy for us! Her ideas were really beautiful. We ended up using elements from both of her designs, and we are really pleased with the end result. She saved us time and money, and also saved us from making some really bad mistakes.  She is a gem!   The next time we redecorate, we will call Brigid first.

Working with B. Chic was a great experience. Never using an interior designer before, Brigid made me feel very comfortable and within no time she was helping select colors and tile for my bathroom/kitchen remodels. The project cost shown includes all of labor and materials. The design charge itself was minimal and worth every penny. I am very pleased with the final results and look forward to working with B. Chic again in future remodel projects!

Brigid is a great resource for anyone planning to go through a remodel.  She knows which contractors and companies you should use to get the best customer service (which is really what you should focus on).  We already had a good idea of what we wanted, and she helped steer us to the places we should go to get it.  We have just finished our first project (new hardwood throughout the house) and we look forward to working with her on future projects.

Brigid was awesome! She came to my house to help me determine what paint colors would go well with my artwork and the rooms I wanted to paint. She was professional, friendly and extremely helpful! I'd recommend her services to others for sure.

Brigid is wonderful.  This was just our first meeting; we plan to consult with her at various points during the course of our project.  She is very knowledgeable and full of ideas, and suggested many things we had not thought of.  We have started working with some of the professionals she recommended, and we are very pleased.  She has saved us a lot of time, making her fee well worth it. It went great. Our kitchen and updates are fabulous. We love it. Brigid work with us throughout all the color and pattern designs for wall cabinets and flooring.. Meet with us at the granite store. Walked through the tile and grout selections. Coloring for the walls, etc. Everything turned out wonderfully. She is a great person to work with. She knows her stuff. Very easy going, provided great feedback on color, options and style. We will definitely be engaging her on our projects planned for 2014 and 2015 and beyond.

Brigid is fantastic and I highly recommend. From the get go, we knew she had a good vision of the project.  She worked well with my contractor even though she had never worked with him before.  She designed a computer layout of how the overall plan would look.  She was very careful to get a sense of what our priorities for the space were and used those priorities to help design the right space for our needs.  We had to use several vendors for our bar cabinetry, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures and theater wiring.  I went with all of her referrals and every single person along the way was professional, courteous and responsive to my needs.  I think part of  that speaks to Brigid's great people skills and her ability to have those who work with her respect her and want to do right by her clients.  She also was very willing to assess my style preferences and appropriately steer me to the best selections of materials and decor etc.

 Brigid  was always punctual, flexible with scheduling, answered emails promptly and even sent emails when she left town to notify her clients of her brief absence.  She would follow through with everything she promised and even checked in from time to time to gauge the progress of our contractor.

In the end, our new space looks great and this huge project was done with minimal stress and drama, mostly b/c of Brigid's spot on recommendations.  She is creative, responsive, professional and just a great person to work with.  I am very glad I found her!!

I was thrilled to finally be getting a brand new kitchen but felt overwhelmed when it came to selecting the granite for my counter tops and the tile for my back splash and flooring.   My contractor offered design services but, truthfully, I was somewhat intimidated by the thought of using an interior design expert and was concerned about the cost.  Thankfully my need for design advice was stronger than my fears,  and my contractor put me in contact with Brigid Wethington of B. Chic Interiors.

Brigid met with me in my home and discussed with me what my vision was for my new kitchen.  She put me at ease and really listened to my ideas.  We then ventured out to look at tile for my back splash and flooring. The many selections at the tile center seemed mind boggling at first, but Brigid, ever patient, helped me to select tiling that was  both beautiful and within my budget.  With selection samples in hand, we then went to the granite center and selected a gorgeous piece of granite that perfectly complemented my tile.  Upon returning to my home, Brigid, provided paint sample suggestions for the walls and recommended a vendor for my lighting needs.  The entire process took about two hours.  It was fun!

Brigid is a professional who knows her business.  She is wonderfully creative and takes pride in what she does.  Even more importantly, she is dedicated to helping her customers translate ideas into reality within whatever framework she is presented and at a reasonable cost.  My kitchen came together beautifully thanks in large part to Brigid's guidance , knowledge of design and dedication to  client needs.  Please call her.  You won't regret it.

I contacted Brigid and we chatted over the phone about what I was looking for. I had seen her work on Pinterest and I shared my own pin boards with her so we could start talking about the style of the decor I want.
She came for a consultation and she measured all the space and asked me questions about our preferences. She came back a week later with a presentation that she showed me on her iPad, and later emailed to me as a PDF file. She had gotten the style that we wanted and presented furniture and lighting options that we like.  On the last page of the presentation was a list of specific carpets, sofa, chairs, tables, light fixtures, curtains and even suggested art, along with and the artist's name and the stores with prices. (I had given her a rough budget to help her choose pieces at the appropriate pricepoint)
The demonstration showed the layout from different angles, so you could get a good sense of how it would look. (If you watch some of the decorating shows on cable television, this was very similar to what you might see there)
Having this floorplan was exactly what I needed. It gave us a sense of the proportions of new furniture and it helped us select and purchase things for our homes. 
One of the advantages of Brigid's business model is that she charges for the amount of time she works. As a designer she gets a discount from many retailers, and she passes that discount along to her clients. So, for example, I wanted to hang curtains right away and I liked what she chose so I had her order them for me and I got about 10% off on that order. 
Now, we didn't end up buy exactly every thing she recommended from the stores she recommended because we went to each store and checked it out in person. For example, sofas are very personal and we didn't find her recommendation comfortable. We just found another one that WAS comfortable. Since we had settled on the size and type of fabric already, it made shopping SO MUCH EASIER. My husband and I no longer hemmed and hawed, we were focused. So far, we have chosen several items different form her recommendation, but in each case I called her first and asked her opinion. In those cases where we opted not to follow her advice, it was still helpful because we felt sure we had considered all options before making these decisions. 
Without some expert advice, I would have taken years to furnish our new home and I would have surely made expensive mistakes. I feel more confident tackling this task, knowing I have Brigid to consult. Her services are well worth the expense. I feel like we will wind up with a home that is perfect for our needs and our tastes. Thumbs up!!

We have been working with Brigid for several months now. The hard part is over. The contractors she recommended have all worked out very well. Kitchen installations, flooring, lighting and painting are all complete. We are very pleased. I am looking forward to the last phase which is textiles and area rugs. Brigid provides sound guidance but is not pushy. She gives several alternatives to her vision so that we can choose the one that works best for us.

I decided to meet with B. Chic Interiors after a meeting with another designer did not go so well.  Being new to the interior designer world, I decided to take a chance and meet with another designer.  I was hopeful Brigid would be a good fit.  It was definitely a wise decision.  Brigid has been absolutely wonderful.  I will admit, from the start I knew I was going to need alot of attention and luckily for me, Brigid was up for the challenge.  She was extremely patient with all my questions and concerns.  Brigid was spot on with all her designs  from layout to furniture suggestions.  I have to admit, with her help, my house looks fabulous!  .
Without hesitation, I would recommend B.Chic Interiors in a heartbeat.

Brigid was wonderful to work with. She gets to know her client before recommending designs. Brigid also knows the vendors in the area & passes savings on to her client. I ended up with a remodeled bathroom I wanted that is a timeless design- Brigid put it all together! I will hire B. Chic Interiors again for future projects.

Brigid did an exceptional job in creating designs for our family, living, kitchen, sun room and foyer.  She worked with existing items we owned and was conciuous of our budget. She was available throughout and after our remodel.  She provided us with great ideas and sent us shopping to some excpetional stores.  She provided a road map that we could follow over time and was a pleasure to work with.

Brigid did the interior design for 3 rooms in my house, including paint
colors, choosing furnishings, lamps, rugs, blinds, etc.. She showed me
detailed models and floor plans, and ordered the furnishings.  
We
had a lot of back-and-forth as details were getting ironed out and she
was very responsive and dealt with issues in a timely fashion. The
project is nearly done and everything looks fantastic -- I would
definitely recommend her to anyone and plan to call her again in the
future.

Excellent.  Brigid does the leg work; we paid her an hourly fee for her time and in return we even got the benefit her discount at some of the home stores she used in the design.  We ran into an issue with recessed versus non recessed medicine cabinets and she jumped right on it and got the problem resolved.  No remodeling project ever goes without some snag, it's all about how the contractor, or in this case designer, handles the snag.  She did a great job!
