Lots of people went through (meaning I spent a lot of time keeping the place spotless), but the agent never managed an offer for me. His idea of making the place more salable was to lower the price, again and again. Finally I couldn't afford to go lower and withdrew the house from the market. That's when Anne called. She promised to actively and personally market market the house, not just list it on the net. Within weeks she had an offer at my price. After 6 months with nothing I was amazed she had worked so efficiently. Unlike most of the agents I interviewed, she did more than put the property on the Internet. She made calls to tell possible interested parties about the house. When someone saw the house, she called the buyer's agent personally to get their reaction. If parties showed interest, she followed up. This level of personal attention is missing with a lot of the real estate agents I spoke to. The Internet does not sell houses, it just gives them exposure. Anne added the personal touch that made all the difference. My buyer had complications selling her house. Anne kept her finger on all the various complications including keeping the sellers of the condo I was buying on board when they got skittish.
