The care the team is currently providing my grandmother is better than I could ever expect. They go above and beyond every day to make sure she is safe while the rest of us are at work. Their willingness to take her to doctors appointments and attend the appointment with her, as well as go grocery shopping and cook has lifted the stress that was consuming our family. I couldn’t ask for a better team!

I absolutely love the services provided for my aging in place mom. Staff are professional, competent and caring of course. They treated mom like a member of their own family. Mom was always in good hands.

Normally, I wait 6 months to do reviews of services to ensure that what I am describing is a consistent and sustainable service. However, after only a few weeks of service, we knew that AAI Caring Hands, LLC was truly special and unique among all the agency caregivers who tried to provide homecare for my husband, who has a rare form of Parkinson’s called PSP. Even at earlier stages of the disease, the level of care he needed was simply beyond the understanding, abilities and/or compassion of other caregivers. I had given up on finding someone to help, was totally exhausted and beyond my capabilities to care for him. However, I am determined that he will be able to stay in our home of 30 years. Then my prayers were answered. My husband’s physical therapist told me about working with an amazingly caring and skilled company that one of her other clients uses. The physical therapist and AAI caregivers had become a team, working together to better serve the client. Our first meeting with the owners of AAI Caring Hands lasted much longer than planned as we talked about so many aspects of caregiving that they had learned personally from decades of experience as caregivers, my husband’s special needs, our goals and plans, our situation/setup for homecare, and simply enjoyed getting to know each other. The next day, AAI prepared for us a customized care plan and schedule, and the next week, Andrea, president of AAI, herself became my husband’s primary caregiver. It is wonderful to describe how much my husband (and I) have improved since AAI Caring Hands became part of our family. We now have what we call our Dream Team. The variety of services they provide (like therapeutic massage), how they are partnering (so professionally and on our behalf) with the other therapists for speech and physical therapy, equipment providers, difficult insurance companies who no longer can refuse payment because the Care Plan and Care Notes are so thorough, and participating in doctor visits makes it feel like we are all one team with the same goal. AAI’s goal is to make my husband’s life not only the best it can be, but also that it is rich with interactions, entertainment, and training. With new equipment, skilled techniques, managing medications and healthier habits of eating and daily routines, we are now able to go for walks, go out to have lunch, go out to classes for Parkinson’s patients, and meet with friends. Things that we thought we would never be able to do again. During recent appointments, Gary’s primary and neurological physicians were so impressed with his transformation and with Andrea that they wanted to know more about AAI Caring Hands. We completely trust AAI Caring Hands staff with keys to our home, our car, our lives. They have been available 24/7 whenever needed, stayed with us at the hospital, prepared delicious homecooked meals, helped with household chores and even household repairs. They are aware of and willing to help with any and all our needs; making suggestions without us even needing to ask.
