Herrera Services did significant remodeling for me. The house was built in 1979 and there have been a couple of previous room paintings, HVAC and appliance upgrades. The coordination, start to finish, for this upgrade has been with Humberto, the owner of the company. The major part of the upgrade included rebuilding the master bath. This was a complete gut and rebuild of the bathroom. Attached are pictures of the new shower enclosure and vanity. We relocated the washer and dryer from the basement to a small bedroom on the second floor. We also had three pocket doors installed to replace doors that had dysfunctional opening directions. A second bathroom was renovated. Very high efficiency toilets replaced all the old originals. After seeing the quality of their work we continued to the rest of the house. Throughout the house we added crown molding and repainted. Repainting is an understatement; the walls and ceiling were all sealed, sanded, primed and painted. The rooms looked better than new, no seams or nail pops. Windows, doors and moldings were painted also. All plumbing and electrical work was very professionally done. The second renovation was to a previously finished basement in early 1970’s style. Again, this was a major upgrade. Ceiling and walls were demolished, dry walled, prepared, primed and painted. New LED lighting was installed in the ceiling along with new dimmer switches. HVAC ducting, cross beam and vertical supports were tastefully concealed. An old bar was refinished with new custom surface, backsplash and dimmable lights. A wine refrigerator was built into the bar along with a custom designed wine rack. The conventional fireplace was renovated with new tile and fitted with an electric fireplace. The floor was upgraded to quiet vinyl planking. The stairway was upgraded to have treads similar to the new floor and new handrails were added. We hid the glass sliding patio doors with louvered wooden doors. The basement LED lighting looked so good we had them replace the old kitchen “can” lighting with similar LED lighting. The work was exceptional and the basement came out much better than expected. Herrera Services is very customer satisfaction oriented. Humberto’s primary concern is for you getting exactly what you want, even if it takes some do-over. His workers are all quality oriented and Humberto is the overall quality inspector (he is thorough). They even do an exceptional job of keeping the renovation mess to a minimum and cleaning up before they leave. I couldn’t be any happier with what Herrera Services did to upgrade a middle aged house. Anyone that has seen the upgrades has been very impressed with the quality of what was done. The only problem we had was the more work he did the more ideas we got for further improvement, his work is that good! I highly recommend Herrera Service for any renovations you may need. We have recommended them and will use them again.
