Raised patio is probably 95% done correctly. One hundred percent is what I contracted for. Raised stone block garden bed is a disaster. Each time it rains, there is three inches of water backing up 3 feet onto the bluestone patio because "the experts" that I hired did not install drainage. It took one month to get them back to remove the stone blocks from the bluestones on which they installed the garden bed. The excuses were incredible: he had to work on his parents' house because they were getting it ready to sell; he had a BROKEN HEART because his girlfriend of four years broke up with him, therefore he could not work. The excuses went on for over one month before the partner finally came back and removed the stone blocks from the bluestone patio. The same nightmare scenario is ensuing now. Excuses, excuses, excuses for not coming back to install proper drainage to eliminate the swimming pool effect on the patio. "He locked keys in car and could not work all day."
Description of Work: Build 2 1/2 ft. by 8 ft by 10 ft raised patio using stone pavers. Added raised garden bed of stone block to encircle existing semi-circular bluestone patio.
