About us

Our company was founded by Albert L. Slater, Sr., a 22 year old veteran of the United States Air Force. While being stationed at Andrews Air Force Base, he moonlighted in the gutter business until his retirement in 1976. Slater's Seamless Gutters, Inc. was established shortly after Mr. Slater's retirement and well on its way to showing homeowners of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC the advantages of a seamless aluminum gutter system.

I am very impressed with this company. I tried to get quotes from other companies on Angie's List, but only two companies responded. Of those two, Slater's provided a quote almost instantly and was able to schedule my work quickly. Unlike the other company who only offered one solution, Slater's gave me a selection of 5 types of gutter guards from which to choose. The prices were comparable to the other quote. We scheduled the work for Columbus Day, since I would be at home that day. I got a message that the person slated for the job was not able to make the appointment and could we reschedule. Unfortunately, I didn't get this until the weekend, so I was not able to respond until the day of the appointment. Since we were not able to connect, Slater's sent another team to do the job on the day we scheduled. Impressive - most other companies would no be so courteous of my time.

The job was done quickly and well. The servicemen cleaned up the discard thoroughly (which I know was ample, considering the former home occupant had not cleaned the gutters in the four years he had the house). Will definitely recommend this company to my friends and family!
