SGK PAINTING INC

Originally we were going to have him paint the entire house. Then my husband and I noticed that he was telling each of us different prices. When we told him that we had caught on to this he then told us that he only had time to do the ceilings. Then when we hired another painter he started bugging the other painter for a finder's fee because he had referred them. He then tried to tell the other painter how to do the job and that he wanted to work for that painter on our house. The quality was terrible. He painted over some of the other painting that we had done including the crown molding. There are problems with the color and sheen of the paint. The work was terrible and he tried to blame us for the paint we selected. Once he was gone we started noticing lots of problems. He took much longer than what was necessary. We paid him a lot of money for a marginal paint job. He didn't use primer. The painting he did on the exterior I don't think will last through the winter, he didn't sand or prime before hand. He wouldn't accept responsibility for his mistakes. However, he did come on time each day and work throughout the day.

Steve was courteous and helpful. Although he quoted me a price for the above work, he applied extra coats of paint and stain where needed and identified areas on the fence and porch that I didn't see that needed an extra nail or screw. He did the extra work and maintained the quoted price. He walked me through the process and asked me to check his work throughout the two days it took to complete the tasks. Steve also provided tips on maintaining my fence.

Steve was wonderful to work with. He finished the job in a timely manner and performed beyond expectation. He's professional, clean, and explains his steps before completion. I plan on hiring him again next summer for another job.

He did an excellent job (Steve Koklas). Always showed up on time, cleaned up and worked like a demon.

THIS COMPANY HAS DONE WORK FOR US BEFORE. WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH THEIR CAPABILITIES. THE PROCESS WHICH TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS WAS SATISFACTORY AND PLEASING.
