Painters arrived on time and went right to work. Excellent repair of damaged walls. Only issue as was how they chose to use the paint to apply to an accent wall. The paint was a dark red paint/primer covering a white wall; I had to purchase additional paint because painters said that the paint would not cover the wall solidly after 3 coats were put on. I found this quite confusing, but I did purchase additional paint. As experienced painters I thought they should have told me in advance if a different primer was required so that I would not have had to purchase additional paint. At the end all was well.

Perry and his crew did a fantastic job of finishing ( and that included fixing the poor taping/plastering job the builder did0 and painting our garage. The job was done earlier than expected and with a great deal of detail and care. Perry and crew were very friendly and clean. We will use them again when we paint the inside of the home.

They gave me an excellent off-season hourly price. The job was well done, I was very comfortable with them in the house (which is important to me), and I was wonderfully happy with the results. I thought the main stripper/painter they sent was very high skill. Plus--I was home some of the time when they worked, and they used a very quiet steamy kind of tool to get the wallpaper off, and did a really good job of not making a mess around my house.
I felt it was a bit above and beyond that they went down my list of little paint & drywall repairs all over my house (I had requested this when they came out to estimate the job) and made all kinds of things better (a little peeling wallpaper under paint in the bathroom, a damaged corner in the bedroom, messy painting here, chips out there).
My only caveats: The estimate of time was substantially off, and they had me buy two quarts of expensive oil-based paint ($30/quart) which they did not use--because the plan had been also to paint the cabinet doors, and the painter said the paint would chip off, and it really didn't make sense to paint them (and they didn't really need it)--and if they had done in hindsight the time would have been double the estimate (and I'd have been less happy because the paint would have chipped). They undercharged me on the time they actually spent enough to cover the cost of the oil-based paint--and I was able to give it away on Freecycle to someone who was very happy to have it, so it worked out. Plus the base rate was excellent, so I was not unhappy about the price. I was glad they had started on Wednesday, and were finished by the weekend. (In my experience, things often take a lot longer and cost a bit more than expected, and I was not disturbed by this. I would say, avoid them if you can't accept this--but honestly, avoid all contractors if you can't accept this.)

I would definitely use these folks again, if I had a another high-skill painting job beyond my local handyman.

The painters were professional and on time. My biggest complaint is that the task was estimated to be finished in one day by two painters, a total of 16 hours, but my basement looked terrible once the day was complete. The painter's assistant (who did great on the stairwell) had to come back the next day to complete the painting in the basement that was unfinished. I had to pay extra money for the extra day of services to complete the job that was estimated to be finished in one day. All logistics about which walls would be painted and the specific colors were discussed during the walk through/estimate. I shouldn't have had to pay for an extra day of services to complete the job. In all, the assistant painter did a pretty good job.

Mr. Talley and his associate arrived puntual to the job and they were prompt in scheduling an appointment after the purchase of the Big Deal. I explained to Mr. Talley what I wanted accomplished prior to the purchase of the Big Deal and he assured me that this was a manageable task for that time frame and he was true to his word. The two rooms he painted look phenomincal, such quality and detail. He even accomodated my special requests for the nursery we were painting which included several colors and the installation of a chair rail. The nursery came out amazing. We are very pleased with the job that Mr. Talley and his associate performed, we will definately use them again in the future for other areas we need painted. Great attention to detail, very neat, and good customer service!!

I cannot say enough good things about Mr. talley and his painters. He is honest, courteous, punctual, and professional. Job were smoothly. Mr. Talley and his workers are pleasant and amiable and take pride in their work. If you need a painter, do yourself a favor and hire him. I am delighted with the results, the men were great to work with. I have several rental properties and plan to use him again whenever I need a painter.

Perry and his colleague did a great job - showing up on time both days, covering everything well, and taking great care with the details. In addition to doing a great paint job, they took the time to make some good suggestions (flat paint versus eggshell for a room with a movie projector). I would (and will) use them again.

I've been using Angie's List for 2-3 years. I think this experience was the best. Perry called me to setup the appointment, but I ask for a per walk-thru to ensure I had enough paint. Granted his address is about 7 miles about, but he still came by on the same day for the walk-thru. I scheduled the project for the following week. Well, this morning the both painters arrived together. They performed a quick survey and drop the protective clothes on the stair. I gave them the paint and explained how I which colors to paint the walls. They gathered their equipment and went to work. One painter upstairs and one downstairs...working relatively non-stop until the completed the work. I expected a lunch break, but I sure did not see them take one. NO personal or business calls were noticed...(not that I would have mind); but I sure respect the work ethics. I'm still waiting for the paint to dry just to see if my color matching skills are reputable. I experienced with painting some areas almond and others in tan. I think their work is excellent, so I'm not worked about that part. All the stains and scuffs are finally gone the painted areas look brand, spanking new. They even touched up the based boards. I did not want all the baseboards, because my concerns were the walls. Upon completion, I am very pleased with it experience. As the cleaned up their equipment and stack the remaining paint cans, I got an estimate for the two remaining bedrooms and closets. I will use Perry Talley Painting for my next painting job.

It went very well, my only complaint was that they didn’t stay for two hours. I had more to do. Maybe they didn’t have time to finish extra work. I showed them extra work, and asked them for a quote, but they never got back to me. Other than that, they were very good at what they did. I just showed them extra work that I needed to be done, asked them to give me a fair price but they never called me back.

Two guys showed up. One was an actual painter. The other was someone learning how to paint... I was disappointed that the company billed such a novice as a professional painter when the guy clearly was not.
The Painter worked swiftly and moved with a purpose. The other guy had to wait until the Painter "cut" all the walls, then he rolled the walls with the speed and accuracy that I could have rolled the walls. I was expecting both "painters" to be painting at the same time . But the novice stood around for about an hour and and a half until the walls were "cut" or waiting to be told what to do next.
In 8 hrs, two painters didn't finish the job I wanted them to finish - painting the Living room, hall, and kitchen. They did not have to paint the trim work. However, I did have them "clean up" the trim work where it met the wall to ensure I had a clean look. That was done well.

It was great experience! I had purchased another Big Deal which I was very disappointed in. I contacted Angie's List to cancel that one and this Big Deal was recommended. Mr. Talley came to my house, put me at ease and made the work sound so easy. This was a short turn around and I was pressed for them to come within the week - he checked the "extra" paint I had in the basement and let me know what could be used for this project (ceiling and trim) and he provided me with the information on how much I needed to purchase for the walls.
They might not have used tape, but I don't have an issue with that - if you are skilled you might not need painter's tape. I'm thrilled with the job and will use them again.

Provider contacted me to schedule a time. Once I told him what I wanted done he gave me the option of picking up paint or he would. He arrived as scheduled and provided and excellent service. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Mr. Perry the painter arrived later than I expected on the first day of the job. However, he & one of this painters worked non-stop once they got started. They were well organized. The second day's arrival time was great. Mr. Perry is very professional and observant. While preparing the painting estimate he saw that the deck needed some necessary repairs. His estimated / final price (which included painting & repairs) was very reasonable. The quality of his work is outstanding. Mr. Perry selected an excellent color for my deck; it really made the deck glow. Although the three entrance doors & the deck were in very bad condition, the completed job was excellent. And, everything was left neat and clean. I look forward to using Mr. Perry in the future.

The provider was scheduled to arrive at 8am. He was more than a half hour late. Once he arrived with another painter, they got right to work on painting my bedroom and bathroom. They appeared ready to leave early after the bedroom and bath were completed. I had to remind him that I had paid for 8 hours (and they arrived late). They then started patching and painting my living room wall. I did a quick inspection before they left for the day. However, when I took a closer look later on at the work done , I was unhappy. I don't think that they used painter's tape. The line between the white trim and the blue walls was blurred in several places. I noticed that blue paint had been transferred to a section of the ceiling and inexplicably on the cord of the TV hanging on my bedroom wall. The biggest problem was the blue paint on the white tiles in the bathroom. Again, it was clear that tape was not used because there wasn't a single straight line of paint. I took pictures of these problem areas and e-mailed them to the provider with a request to come and take care of them. I never received a reply or an acknowledgement that the request had been made. Overall, the paint job was sloppy and unprofessional. I would not use this provider again.

Arrived on time, were professional, organized, pleasant, and worked non stop. Good job painting and left everything as clean as they found it. Very comfortable with them and the word they did. Would recommend Roberto & Uliof.
