crew arrived on time, was exceptional in cleanup after work was completed - incl removing debris from neighbors yards, worked fast, maintained social distance. some on the plants have died since being planted

Overall, the cuts were great. However, requested a cut every 14 days and consistently received 3 cuts a month after being told three different times and calling in again and again that they would only cut once every 14 days. Furthermore, requested an invoice after every cut and again no dice even after being told it was fine. Mind you was told it was fine multiple times. They have email, told them not to call but to send emails since I work and can't answer my phone. Told that would be fine but again, no dice. They're unreliable and not all that communicative, moving on and not coming back.

It went pretty good I was pleased with the final product.

I contacted Lima's to get an estimate on the above work because their Angie's List profile specifically mentioned generating curb appeal. They responded quickly to set an appointment for the estimate, and I hired them even though the estimate felt high because I felt confident they would do a good job based on their communication skills. Unfortunately, they failed to do the job on the day promised because of a scheduling snafu; but because I was on vacation, that didn't inconvenience me, and they did the work the next day. Although I was not able to oversee any of the work that they did because of that vacation, they seem to have done well everything I asked and expected them to do. The B grade primarily reflects my continued sense (but not certainty) that the cost was high. I will re-evaluate this grade if I hire them to do some work at my new house (as I probably will).

The part that was completed looked fine.

Great and very thorough

Mr. Lima and crew cleaned out two flowerbeds in the front of the house. Mr. Lima had called Miss Utility to mark out lines ahead of time. Due to gas line and close proximity of the house had to be dug out by hand. Also the bed had been neglected for over 3 years and at one time had 7 large shrubbery bushes that the stumps where still there that needed to be removed. The soil was poor so they removed about 4 inches of dirt and replaced it with good topsoil and covered it with black mulch. We weren't ready to plant anything yet and probably won't until next spring. Mr. Lima and his crew were punctual and professional. This was back breaking hard work. Mr. Lima and his office staff are professional and provided excellent communication written and over the phone when needed. Lima's Landscaping, Inc. I would hire again for my difficult landscaping needs.

Their service is wonderful. They provided an estimate and started service the following week. This sis the second year that I am using them. They are very reasonable. They cut mine and my next door neighbors yards together.

Lima and his crew did a great job. Our very tall and moderately wide tree (which was very close to the house) was removed without any collateral damage. We had the stump removed as well as two other stumps in the yard removed and now you can't even tell that there were stumps/roots there.

The landscape crew came when they said they would, and performed all the work as expected. 

We have no complaints, and have used Lima's Landscape previously for tree removal and landscaping of the front of our house, including building a stone retaining wall.  We have always been happy with this contractor's work.

Very responsive.  Even did work I hadn't mentioned to them.  Highly recommend.

The workers arrived on time and ensured safety and cleanliness of the work site. During the workday, it began to rain -- the team waited out the rain and got right back to work. They were extremely professional and I was so amazed watching how skillful they were that I took a few photos and distributed their information on some of the social networking sites that I use because I want people to know just how great they are so I do hope they receive a lot of additional business. Not to mention all of the passersby who stopped their vehicles to take down the contact information from the side of their trucks. Lima's Landscaping is very professional, the team worked extremely well together and understood the concept of teamwork. They gave their best to the task and I am a happy repeat customer!

Mr. Lima responded on the Monday after I called on Friday requesting the service. The workers came while I was at work and completed the job.  My yard looked beautiful when I got home, and I have gotten several compliments from my neighbors.  This is the 3rd year that Mr. Lima and his company beautified my yard in the spring.

When the work started, there was only
one man, over a few days, doing a job that was clearly meant for a crew. Mr.
Lima never came to check on the progress, but did pay a quick visit some time
afterward. I did, eventually, have grass growing and Mr. Lima, kindly, offered
to do my first grass cutting, which he did. From there, the service went
downhill. Following my complaints and another quick visit from Mr. Lima, there
was an attempt to fertilize and kill weeds, but this ended up killing the grass
as well. Mr. Lima also had his crew aerate and replant, without success. 
I am now left with a front yard that is a 90% mixture of weeds and small spritzes
of ?near? grass, hear and there, on the side. I later found out from another grass
professional, that compost should have been used to mix with the soil from the
beginning application. In addition, the ?biodegradable? netting was not biodegradable,
and I am stuck with plastic strands that clog the mower and hang on the rake so that I can?t
rake the leaves. Regarding follow up service, it appears that Mr. Lima made my
job one of his lowest priorities. All in all, a huge disappointment and a big
lesson learned. I lost confidence in this company and would never use them
again.

We loved the work Lima did.  They offered several alternatives within our budget, arrived when they said they would (or called to explain why they were delayed) and were very responsive to our phone calls and questions.  The office staff is very friendly and helpful. They will answer what they can and track down an answer for what they don't know.  I felt like they were very honest and straightforward.  They appear to be a family run company and Mr. Lima is a warm and personable guy.  He seemed like a hard working, nice man who runs his company responsibly.  The workers were also friendly and courteous.
