Interior Design and Decorating
Michael Sicheri, the proprietor of Abstract Design, was sent to my house by a contractor from Costco to measure my doors to put over closet door openings. He measured the doors, we chose color and louver size, and he gave me a price. It was reasonable, and we sat down to iron out the details.
He then said that he was starting with a new company (not that it was HIS OWN company, but as a mere salesperson), and that they could give me the same shutters for a 5% discount. I agreed to that term, and gave him a deposit from my Visa card. The contract said that the job should be finished within 60 days.
Needless to say, within 60 days I had heard nothing at all. I tried to call him, left message, e-mails, even drove to the address on the contract and left a note. Nothing.
So, it's been a year now. Nowhere to be seen. Dropped off the edge of the earth. With my $700,
