Outdoor Creations

We contacted owner James Kaberle of Outdoor Creations at 410-531-6760 to provide an estimate for removing, replacing and expanding our existing 30 year old deck. The scope of work included installing a large ground level pressure-treated wood deck leading to a large wood raised deck and an 18' x 14' elevated detached screened porch with a gable roof. Mr. Kaberle showed up in person, on time, at our home to discuss our project. After thoroughly reviewing design options and materials with Mr. Kaberle, he promised to provide a plan and estimate within a very reasonable time frame. 
Jim had listened carefully to all of our needs and concerns and had incorporated them into the deck plans. When we received the plan and estimate we were very pleased with the design and the attention to detail. We were also very satisfied with the final price and schedule!
Jim provided drawings and materials lists to smooth our way through our HOA approval process. He secured the necessary building permits and work began promptly on the morning of the appointed date. Work proceeded in a very organized and methodical manner with quality materials being delivered as needed through the building process with a minimum of disruption to our routine. Mr. Kaberle has an excellent working relationship with his material suppliers due to his 35 years in the business in the Howard County area. All materials were of the high quality promised and were promptly and politely delivered to our home!
Work proceeded as scheduled throughout the process with cleanup at the end of each day. Jim personally arrived each morning as promised! He addressed any questions or concerns we had during the construction and was friendly and approachable at all times. One pleasant surprise concerning the construction was that Jim insisted on using galvanized screws throughout the deck. While galvanized screws require more time and effort than nails during installation they are less likely to lift, ensure longer-lasting stability and require much less attention in later years.
The entire project was completed earlier than agreed upon and we are absolutely thrilled with our new deck and screen porch! Our only regret is that we don?t have another project for Outdoor Creations at this time. 
I would highly recommend Jim Kaberle and Outdoor Creations for any deck, patio or other landscaping projects that you may have in mind! They are reliable, punctual, knowledgeable, experienced, polite and wonderfully easy to work with!

Mr. Kaberle was recommended by a family member. He was very responsive. Returned every phone call promptly. He gave us an estimate of when the work would begin, and work actually began weeks before his estimate. We love the work he did and we intend to hire him again. I wish everyone was this much of a joy to deal with.
