I've used Home Works on a few occasions over last few years. Mostly for gutter cleaning, downspout cleaning, check roof shingles and make any needed repairs; and once for some vinyl siding repair that I couldn't reach. The owner has always done a great job. He's responsive, shows up on time. He'll leave a bill if I am not home. Prices have always been reasonable. He and his team also make sure they clean-up any mess from any of the cleanings. I would strongly recommend this company.

Fred and his staff did a great job. He is a perfectionist. My yard was immaculate after the cleaning - that's my test of a job well done. Highly recommend Home Works.

This vendor has performed multiple repairs for me and always has done a great job.

I called Home Works because I noticed that during heavy rain, water would flow out from side of a second story gutter, instead of the downspout. Fred and an assistant came the same day I called because Fred noted that there would be rain the next day. He cleaned the second floor gutter and all other gutters. He then inspected the rest of house; he tightened the loose siding at a window and metal flash at another window, hammered in nails sticking out of gutter and installed a hidden holder to a gutter at the front of house. When it rained the next day, water from the second story gutter did not spill out from the gutter and flew down the downspout as it should be.

Fred is very responsive and committed to doing a great job. We had issues with our back gutter, and he took a lot of extra time to come up with a solution that was a bit creative, and  solved a drainage problem off the roof. The estimate from one other company was higher, and didn't take into account the specific issues posed by the odd roof angles with our addition. I'd highly recommend Fred.

My wife and I needed a home inspector for a house we were buying and we were recommended by our friend to contact Fred at Home Works Home Inspection Services so we called him to do the inspection.
Fred came early for the appointment and started explaining me about the process and the expected result.
He did an excellent job, very meticulous, very professional, knew what he was doing, knew what to look for, and very patient in answering all my questions and even explaining what he was doing during the inspection process. He gave suggestions and helped us put into perspective which problems were priorities and which ones just things to consider down the road. He also gave me valuable information about home maintenance.
He inspect all aspects of the house - exterior, deck, sunroom, gutters, any unsealed cocking on the windows, roofs, any pop-up nails on the roofs, HVAC unit, bathroom, kitchen, electric panel, fireplace, attic, garage, water heater, faucets, appliances, every little thing that you can think of.
Fred spent more than 5 hours to complete the home inspection because I was following him around and asking all these questions. And he didn't complaint at all.
He sent the report/ result back very quickly and it was very detail and clear. He even called and followed up with me few days after sending the result to make sure everything was fine.
I am very happy with the professionalism and the service he provided.

He is absolutely excellent. He inspected for us a condo, he spent the time it took to look at everything very carefully. Fred came out the same day that we called him to have our gutters cleaned and gave us an estimate.  When he came to clean the gutters I asked him to inspect the other things in our home.  He did an excellent job cleaning the gutters and shared information about the gutters that I never knew.  He is very knowledgeable, professional, and a hard worker.

My friend strongly recommend Fred to me. He did the pre-dry wall and pre-settlement home inspection of my our new house. Fred is very detailed and knowledgeable. He is professional and he provides detailed report that the builder can use it to fix the problems. He did the pre-dry wall inspection carefully and I sent his inspection report to the builder. Then he came back again to double check if the builder fixed the problem. For pre-settlement inspection, he checked everywhere, roof, attic, door, wall, basement, plugs, AC etc. After I sent the report to the builder and they fixed the problem, he came back to check the roof again and he still found that the problem was not completely fixed. Then I sent the new report to the builder, then they fixed it, and Fred came back to check the roof and attic again even after settlement. He is very reliable!
