In September 2015 Earl Stephenson and his two assistants replaced my cedar shakes with CertainTeed Presidential shingles. The roofing job included replacement of plywood sheathing, as needed, and installation of two ventilation vents and a bathroom fan vent. They also installed a CertainTeed InvisiVent soffit, which improved air-flow through the attic.
 I am glad I hired Mr. Stephenson. He and his crew did excellent quality work at a bargain price. The project was started and completed on schedule, and clean-up was thorough. If I ever need another new roof, I will look first for Mr. Stephenson. Highly recommended !

I was in need of a few roof repairs and had gotten a quote from a company last year - but the price was high and I had other things that needed to be done (welcome to home ownership and buying a "fixer upper"!). I decided to get another quote this year, and finally get the work done. A friend of mine had gotten multiple quotes from roofing companies and forwarded me Earl's name as he had come in the lowest. I gave him a call and left a message on Friday afternoon. He called me back on Monday and came out to evaluate the roof on Tuesday. I have a 3 story townhouse, so getting to the roof is difficult. He was able to give me a quote based on the work I knew needed to be done and from what he could see on the ground. He came out the very next day (Wednesday) to conduct the work, and left me a detailed written description of the work performed. Plus, he called me to explain what he saw when he was on the roof and all the work that was done. Everything was clearly explained, and even though he found some more issues with the gutters than expected (they were very clogged in certain areas and detached from the house), he charged me the original amount he quoted me. His quote was significantly less than the other company from last year and very reasonable. He was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I really liked how quickly he was able to come out to do the work, not to mention the price ! Earl was a pleasure to work with - I trust him and his knowledge of roofing, and greatly appreciated the explanations he provided. He is polite, respectful, and timely. I would certainly use his services again in the future and recommend him to others.

Mr. Stephenson is fantastic.  He came recommended by my co-worker as an honest and reasonable roofing contractor.  That he was. 



I would have Mr. Stephenson do work again on the roof.  He was honest about the length of time remaining on the roof (about 10 years), which was the same as the estimate in the home inspection prior to purchase on November 1st. 



When it is time for the roof to be replaced, I will call him.

Earl returned my call promptly and even though it was a busy time for him, scheduled my work fairly quickly.  He quickly identified what needed to be done and did the work as agreed.

I had used his company before (about 15 years ago) for a total tear off of a house I used to own.  Even then he did a great job at a reasonable price.  Work was quick and clean up was great.  There were no issues with the roof afterwards.

There is a reason he has been in business for so long. I trust his judgement and intend to use him for my next roof replacement that is looming.

THE JOB WAS GREAT. HE CAME IN AND DID MORE THAN WHAT WAS EXPECTED OF HIM TO DO. TOLD US THAT IN ABOUT 2 YEARS THE ROOF WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED AND WE WILL MAKE SURE HE IS THE ONE TO DO IT.
