We experienced leaks under the  kitchen sink floor from untightened drains which caused finished ceiling damage. In addition, the  battery for the back up sump dried up because we were never informed to check it. The seals to the pit which also functions as a radon vent were never installed properly.

Remediation has already cost me close to $1,000 in damage and I still have finished ceiling repair to do.

The original work was done through the builder.

Very badly. Their employees did not read the plans and installed plastic instead of copper supply lines. They installed the drain lines in the wrong location for the same reason. They cut 4 inch holes in six consecutive 2 x 8 joists under the master bedroom. After they had to repair these mistakes, their attitude went from bad to worse. They left the hot and cold sink supply lines reversed, the garbage disposal leaking under the sink, which damaged the brand new cabinet, and the main drain line clogged with debris and a rag which flooded and damaged our new hardwood floor. They denied responsibility for all of this and fixed nothing. Their pride in workmanship was non-existant. They installed the drain line so it made a u-turn and doubled back on itself. Try cleaning that with a snake. After a shoving match, they revised the layout to be more workmanlike. The supply lines contained excessive fittings, made unnecessary turns, and doubled back on themselves in several cases rather than taking a direct routing. Very amateurish work. Stay away from these guys and if your general contractor insists on using them, find another general contractor - they are that bad.
