John did a fantastic job. I had bought the "Handyman for a Day" deal, as I have been compiling a list of many things that needed to be done. John completed this long list and even checked in with me about a few things on the list that I forgot to mention. He worked steadily and tirelessly all day and I especially appreciate how, after such a long day, he cleaned everything up. My house is a new place tonight, thanks to the changes he brought today!

He came when he said he would come, did what he said he would do, and charged what he said he would charge. Excellent communication. The windows are absolutely perfect as if he read my mind. He repaired things I did not know were in need of repair without asking or price gouging. For me he was worth every penny.

John came out to repair some wood rot, which went okay. Next, I asked him to repair a gutter, but he didn't want to get up on the ladder. I asked him to then caulk all of the windows and doors. I had bought 12 tubes of caulk and wondered why I had 5 leftover. I started to look at the house and realized that none of the upper windows were done. I could have done all of the ground floor windows myself. Around the back of the house, I have a screened in porch. He was supposed to install an outlet in the screened in porch. He took the outlet off of a GFI outlet in the kitchen and spliced into the already existing GFI in the kitchen and put the new outlet in the screened in porch. The outlet does not work, the kitchen outlets do not work, and the outlets in my dining room do not work. I spoke to an electrician who stated it should have been run as a separate line. I am not happy with the results of the work performed, as only half the job was actually done, and there are more issues electrically. He tried to charge me $150 for a service call, plus $19 per 15 minutes to complete the work to fix an issue that didn't exist until he spliced into the existing GFI outlet.Update: They didn't do a good job.I'm going to go file a complaint. The roof still had a leak going on up there. I had separate communication with them, and they said that they aren't fixing it unless they charge me a whole lot of money. The guy just came out, he sent me an email back talking about if he has to come back out there he was going to charge me $100 + an hour or something. On his responsiveness, he wasn't coming back. The initial call he was actually about an hour late. On the responsiveness, I give him a C, when you're waiting for somebody to show up at 8:30 and they show up at 9:30. I paid the full amount of the $350 when he came out. We had to pay up front. He got his money.

John was punctual and worked for about 11 days on and off (mostly delays due to weather and one national holiday). He performed all tasks we asked of him to our requests and also was able to note many other items we had missed, so we asked him to fix those as well. He responded and was excellent in all of the tasks carried out. We will put him on "speed dial" in the future!

Everything was performed and completed in a timely fashion and we are very pleased with all jobs. Will definitely hire again and have referred to friends.

He contacted be back very quickly to set up an appointment to take a look at the damage. He was very honest about what needed to be done and set up a time to fix it very quickly. His price was great and I could tell he wasn't trying to take advantage of his customers. After he came out and fixed the areas I was amazed on how great it looked. He didn't even leave a mess behind (not that I would have cared) I will definitely use him again for anything I need done around the house and would recommend him to anyone! I can see why he had such a high grade on Angie's list and I urge all of you out there to contact him first before anyone!

My wife and I are beyond satisfied with the entire remodeling process, start to finish. We went nearly a year trying to find the right contractor to help us with our whole home ceiling remodel. We were about ready to give up by the time we contacted John with Nu-Creations. Thank goodness we hadn't. John has the knowledge, skills and overall drive to get the job done, and done well. John was courteous of our pets (our dog fell in love with him), and worked with our sometimes odd schedule and deadlines. The work really speaks for itself. If you are reading this, we strongly urge you to contact John for your next project, I know we will be contacting him again soon!

John had great integrity and could have been dishonest and charged me more for a problem that was more easily fixed.  He called me back right away, came to do the job within a couple days, and did excellent work.  I am recommending him to friends and family and will call him first with any other home issues I have.

I had a leaky tub that I had let go for too long before getting it fixed.  The leak had done damage to the ceiling underneath the tub, and had created a mold issue as well.  John quickly ascertained the cause of the leak, repaired it quickly, then removed the damaged and moldy ceiling.  He treated the wooden beams above with a mold killing product, then allowed the area to thoroughly dry overnight with a small warm-air fan placed in the area.  The next morning he returned to restore the ceiling, which was done flawlessly.  John explained what he was doing throughout the course of repairs, and was very courteous and professional.  I very much appreciated the fact that he hung plastic around the area during the repairs to prevent the spread of dust and debris, painted the ceiling after the repair, and cleaned up thoroughly during and after the job.   As an added bonus, while he was waiting for a first coat of paint to dry, John repaired for free a storm door handle that had been falling off for the past several weeks!  John seems to know how to repair anything-- will definitely be asking him to return in the spring for some additional repairs around the house!
