David Dalo

Working with Dave was great. He was very responsive and professional. He really knows the work and the materials, so we felt well informed all the time.
We had a good builder. At times though Dave had to step in to be the strong voice for what we wanted. Specifically, some wood flooring and a tub were not installed well. Dave made sure these areas were redone to our satisfaction.

The work that Dalo did included not only design and doing the plans, but also getting permits, guiding us in selection of contractors, review of contractor bids, and actual supervision of the work. He did all of this really well, and his participation in the project meant that the actual construction people were being overseen by a construction expert, but someone who was totally working for us to protect our interests. This was a great relief since we have no idea about construction, and don't and quot;speakand quot; the language needed to communicate our wants and needs. Dalo served as the intermediary, and made sure that everything was done right tot he greatest detail. Since he is expert in construction (having done both homes and large buildings) he caught lot's of little things that would never have occurred to us. He has an amazing eye for detail - such as noticing that the ceiling heights in two rooms were slightly different (less than 1/2 inch it turns out) but then making sure that things were done so that there would be a really nice transition between the rooms.
Dalo is totally honest, fair in his pricing, and very effective in making sure that the buyer (us) is getting full value for his money, and also that the job is done right, and on time.
