Description of Work: Heavy up from 100 to 200 amp service; rough-in of about 12 new outlets or wiring receptacles plus 7 recessed lights. | |Ultimately happy with the work, but interactions with Walt were frequently contentious and adversarial. The team no-showed, no-called one full day of work and neither apology nor compensation, either financial or in-kind, was offered or given. The guys doing the work are professional and good-- it wasn't all bad, but I would not recommend and will not use Meyer Electric in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased a new window air conditioner which required a 220 volt outlet. Both the outlet and breaker were changed. In addition, a ballast was replaced in a kitchen undercounter light fixture and a new dimmer switch installed for track lighting. All of the work was done efficiently and all of my questions patiently answered. Walt answered when I called and told me when they could come out. Two other companies on Angie's LIst with equally high ratings did not even bother to return my call.

Description of Work: changed out an electrical outlet that had a circuit breaker on it that was no longer resetting, which meant that my stove/oven weren't useable. they confirmed appointment by email over memorial day weekend and came out to the house first thing in the morning on the day after memorial day. they arrived on time, worked efficiently and quickly and were finished before i needed to leave the house for work, so didn't have to take any time off.

Description of Work: I thought I needed to switch out 3 standard outlets for GFI outlets. Ben showed up right on time, worked quickly, was patient with my questions and even pointed out that I only needed to switch out 2 outlets to accomplish my goals, which saved me money from the quoted cost. Description of Work: Lost power due to electrical overload in bathrooms. Appears the bathrooms were not wired proberly. The owner and his apprentice came out on Christmas Day because we had kids in the house and worked on the problem. They thought they had it fixed, but the circuit blew again the next day. They came back out, found another problem and resolved the issue. The owner knows what he is doing. | |

Description of Work: This was the second time that Meyer Electrical Services has done work for me. The company came with a lofty referral from friends. The first visit was to install two ceiling fans. This visit was to repair an antique chandelier. The electricians are exemplary in every regard: courteous, professional, timely, fairly priced and techically perfect. I never take the time to write reviews but have done so this time because the company stands out as a rarity in today's marketplace!
