Stay Away! Richard was hired by my GC to do renovation work on my house and not a single thing he did is salvageable. Not only was the work horrendous (see parade of horribles below), but his attitude was horrible, he drove over my landscaping and the neighbor's lawn, and dumped garbage in my driveway out of spite. These are some of the things he did wrong: structural members didn't even touch the things they were supposed to support, disregarded my engineer's specifications for materials (regular lumber instead of engineered beams), disregarded my specifications for materials (strandboard instead of good plywood), built wall studs over AC floor ducts to block air and not support the wall, no blocking in walls or ceiling joists, drywalling like you've never seen before, removed doorways by just taking the door off but leaving the frame, covered over roof leaks instead of fixing them, installed insulation wrong to create condensation problems. Refused to fix problems, lied a lot.
Description of Work: Rough carpentry building structural wall, closing some doorways and creating new ones in partition wall. Oversaw and participated in some sheetrocking, electrical, and insulation work.
