Make sure you call for any appointment to bring your car by for an inspection, he will then set up another time to bring your car back to have the work performed. It is a small station. Call before you go by. I was very happy with his demeanor and his work.
Description of Work: My Transmission solenoid went out on my 2002 ford focus ztw station wagon. Noel ( the head mechanic) was professional, explained what I needed and what my options were. The price was fair and I must say about 100.00 cheaper than other quotes. 6 months later my car is running with no complaints. Noel specializes in Mercedes, Toyota engine repairs , but he is very knowlegable about any car.

I accepted inspection for $70 (2.50 was unexpectedly added to the bill by him "for taxes"). The mechanic (and owner/manager?) reported two problems. He said he could perform one of the two inspection problems for about $300. He did not tell me the price estimate for the other when I told him I could do that job myself for about 20 minutes work. I should have asked for that estimate too, before I told him anything. But he seemed like such a nice man. I left and made all the repairs myself, for both problems. It cost me $6.50 and about 2 hours of my time, including an hour at the hardware store for a part. I came in later and he accepted the inspection, but charged me an additional $28 for the "re-inspection." I have been through Maryland inspections before and have never been charged for "re-inspection," but sure enough, in fine print, his receipt did say that I would pay for it. The whole ugly experience cost me about $100! The inspection took less than an hour's work, I know because I drove by early and saw that the work was already done.
