Chris, who runs Allstate Roofing, gave us a good bid to put on a new roof on our barn. Little did we know that by the time he was 1/4 through the job, he would double the cost. Not only did the cost double, which we can show through documentation, but he only ended up doing half the job he promised.
For nearly four months, he kept promising to come back and finish the job and never did. I even gave him an extra $1,000 to get him to come back and finish the job. He promised he would, but never did. He then promised he would send me back the $1,000, which of course he has not done. He will not answer any phone calls or messages.
I guess it was partly our fault for not getting references, but you just want to trust people. It was a horrible experience and I'm hoping to try and warn folks before they get taken too. Thank you for listening, Kerri Childress
