First part of the job was fair, and I knew I would talk through some issues prior to the larger job. Dates and times discussed then agreed upon, but workers (not the owner, Carlos Bautista) came at 8:00 AM on Saturday and were mowing the lawn -- this was neither a day nor a time I had ever indicated availability. The noise woke us up, and I spoke with workers and then texted Carlos, asking why the workers were there. He responded he didn’t know. I clarified that this would not happen again which he confirmed. I also said that the lawn mowing had been part of the larger job estimate ($250) and that I would pay that when job was completed, not an extra $35 for lawn mowing. He did not object. Two days later I texted to confirm plans for the next day’s yard clean-up job, at which time he told me he would not be doing the job and that I could find someone else to do the scheduled lawn mowing. I went to review the company and see that they are no longer listed with angie’s list.
